I just hope they do not change it to much. At least i have downloaded the demo so i can always just listen to that if they change it to much.

Its down to the contract she has with NBC so they get the "world premiere performance" of the song not the VMAs. Also their going to be promoting her A LOT over the coming months and into her album release so its only fair really.

NBC will also give Christina her own special in November (I think) e.g. a special concert showcasing her new material.

Its gonna be a FUN winter for Christina fans.

I think we can rule a VMA performance out.

However I am thinking if the dates are clear we might get an EMA performance.

The song is AMAZING.

Really hope it is a success for Christina, she deserves to have a hit.

I was one of the few people who loved Bionic, but 'Not Myself Tonight' was a terrible lead single and was one of the worst on the album.

Anyone heard any rumours / got any news about when the official audio will leak, lyric video be released etc?

She's supposedly premiering it on The Voice season premiere, which I believe is September 10th. So expect an announcement the week before. Her hair stylist said the video would come mid-september.

But this was all before the demo leak.

I've just listened to the leaked version for the first time and it's really catchy. The tune is now stuck in my heard. I have a good feeling about this.

The video looks like it'll be directed by Melina Matsoukas. She's been spotted on set.

I think Touch is way better than F*** for the song, which has grown on me quite a lot this weekend (No Internet, Away from Home, with an Mp3 player for comfort)! But it is a Max Martin, I suppose, my kryponite! That I Wanna Go/Moves Like Jagger type hook in there is INFECTIOUS!!!

It just jars me when I'm listening... I'm starting to feel like a prude, but yeah, it's clear it's for publicity and reinstating Dirrty Xtina. Controversy doesn't always = extra sales though. (Sorry to bring up Britney but) When Criminal's video debuted I thought "Ooooh, controversial! That'll get people talking!" ... But nope! Madonna's controversial ways don't equal extra sales anymore either! I think the IWG/MLJ hook will equal more extra sales! It's very on trend, but different from pure electro/dance pop so it'll do well I'd say.
