I think that's the main thing that gets me- it's so stupid. It is not to the benefit of the show to waste the popular characters that always get people talking.

It'll never make any sense to me. Johnny and Marc always gave 100%, never caused any trouble in their personal lives that reflected badly on the show, their characters were popular, the couple even more so and, most of all, they were both really talented.

True, true- The build up and the scenes that we got leading up to the reveal (kitchen floor crying, Syed spending time with Christian on his birthday and making a birthday wish that I believe was about christian when blowing out his cake, Quran giving etc) was great and in character. And like you said we even got a decent aftermath between Chryed and the Masoods to build more layers to the story (suicide attempt, Qadim beating etc). Yep, I hope its written really well and we get solid screen time that's my biggest hope and does this epic love story justice. I think Chryed will get their happily ever after.

The exact same thing happened to me! I woke up, thought I'd had a dream about Chryed leaving, then it slowly dawned on me that it wasn't a dream, and I got all emotional again. Although I am feeling a bit more stable than I was last night. But I am also a little less drunk and have had more than 3 hours sleep now...

Yeah, me too. I'm even finding my Chryed wallpaper on my laptop a bit difficult to deal with. Luckily I haven't had to look at it much because I've had FB and here and Twitter pretty much permanently open since the news broke.

Hello!

I used to post on here ages ago ( I think the last time was a bout 2 years ago!)... I hope some of you remember me

Heard the news yesterday and it made me pop back and see how everyone was doing.

For the record - I'm glad Marc took the decision to leave. They have given him such bad 'storylines' and such little screentime that I'm surprised he hadn't quit earlier.

Of course I will be sad not to have Chryed on screen anymore but I'm really excited to see what Marc (and Johnny!) end up doing next.

I soon realised it was still to raw for me as well as I couldn't make it pass basically first meeting...

S: "Here let me"

C: "Thanks!"

S:"I'm Syed"

C:"Christian"

S: "Muslim"

*Christian pulls an unamused face*

AH I love chryed! so much that like you said my heartaches.

All this!! and the BIB is the biggest travesty/crime of them all. They wasted so much great potential! EE love tragedy and strangely their biggest tragedy (for me) is what happened off screen then on screen by failing to write properly for Chryed in 2011 and most part of 2012. No other storyline they have ever produced has made me cry this much or angry then acknowledging this fact.
