If I could describe the thread's mood in song, yesterday would have been 'It's the end of the world as we know it' by REM (only some of us were feeling fine, though). Today it's a bit more like 'Yes' by McAlmont and Butler...random post, but bored at work

Afternoon everyone.

I wasnt on yesterday to give my initial reaction to the spoiler. I dont think it will be cheating. It doesnt say it is in the article and Chryed have always been a 'end' relationship as in each others 'the one'. It would be unbeliveable to suddenly change hisory and have one of them cheat. It wouldnt feel right. Gary Lucy is a good actor and i have enjoyed his acting in all the programmes he's been in so i would hate to turn against him because he's getting inbetween Chryed.

If anyone does cheat however, or is tempted to, i think it'll be Syed. Christian has had too many men in the programme and it would be nice to see someone like Syed for a change. I hope it doesnt involve cheating and its maybe just a temptation storyline because of the stresses of the money problems and wedding build up. I could cope with that if it wasnt cheating, cheating. Danny could also be a Syed ex. Thats another intersting angle to take the story down as Christian would feel threatened from the off.

Plus i liked the idea of a stalker stroyline. Danny doesnt know Syed lives in Walford but when he knows he does, he sets out to snare him and do everything in his power to elimate the competition-Christian. All this could result in Danny trying to hurt Christian or even his 'love' for Syed turns toxic and he tries to hurt Christian, who has to save him. All this could be the be=ig build up to the wedding, culminating on the eve of the wedding.

Ah waht do i know. Its awful not knowing anything.

Thank you surreal for your post yesterday! Many interesting thoughts as to where they COULD take this s/l, exploring maybe Syeds past (if Danny's an old friend or *gasp* a ONS) and possibly even exploring issues from the last year-18 months through what happens this fall.Without any cheating at all :sleep: 'Tis possible.

JN, glad you're feeling better if resigned about it. It will indeed be EE's loss when they leave, but we'll always, always have what the story has meant to us. And remember, all is not lost yet!

Forgot to say, in all the ho-ha that was yesterday, a huge thank you Jenn for the caps (a while ago now, but still!) as always! And a big thank you to you and Chryedguy for the fanfest idea! I'll look forward to seeing/reading etc. all of that in due time!

I'm planning on being a primary school teacher. Gonna do English, Art, History and Psychology in 6th form. Mum keeps joking that I should use her as a test subject in Psych and then tell her the results because she hasn't got a clue why she does things and she would really like to know.

I'd be happy with any of these scenarios There really are so many ways to create good drama without resorting to cheating, I'll be so pissed off if EE choose the lazy route. It would be such a waste But yeah, the worst bit is not knowing. All I really want to know is whether or not there's cheating, I'm not that bothered about the specifics of the sl right now. Hopefully we'll find out soon
