This modern notion of branding anyone who doesn't bitch up front as 'fake' is ridiculous. No work place would function if people actually said what they think. Adults have to learn to keep their thoughts to themselves and behave in a socially appropriate way with others - anything else and you'd have a house full of Jasmines.
Nicely put.

Saw a clip of him and Sam talking. He was genuinely bemused that some of them were taking it badly being up. He said in the whole scheme of things, it's no big deal whatsoever. He also said how clever it was of BB to make everyone suspicious of each other.

To me, that came across as Martin was putting his game plan into action.

At least he was honest and said he was going to play the game.

Can he be himself and still play a game? Who knows

Fake or what.
Why do you refer to Martin by his surname but Coleen by her first?

Agreed, I just wanted to know if they could justify it.

Just a natural reaction I think to be honest. I don't see why anyone would find it weird or fake.

you've said that you like Julie so I'm interested to know your views on her sucking up to Jasmine to her face but calling her behind her back

to me Julie's two facedness towards Jasmine was worse than Martin hugging Coleen when she approached him for one

ah yes, I see it's excused for Julie as it's her "sense of humour"

This. Lauren was slated on her for doing in BB13. What's so good about Martin Kemp some posters on this forum act as if he can do no wrong.

But was she slated by the same posters who are defending Martin?

Agreed some folk did indeed have a go at Lauren, but it wasn't neccessarily these posters

I would agree with this - he is treating the whole game how I would hope to treat it if I was in there. He is clearly mature, stable, intelligent and thoughtful (in terms of considering and thinking about things he and others do and say). He doesn't seem to have the need to be loved by virtual strangers - maybe because he has real people he loves and who love him, and maybe because of everything he has been through in life all this BB stuff really doesn't count.

I think he is in there cos he is a fan and wants to give it a go, see how it works from the inside just for the experience.

He is still my favourite despite not being in your face entertaining.

Why would he be threatened? She's just not being friendly to him, for whatever reason, so that's why he's nominated her.

Perhaps she feels uncomfortable the way he looks at her

Or maybe she has no use for him because he's happily married, so she can't work him.

hmm maybe not. Wasn't aimed at a certain poster(s) probably should've said that lol. I still stand by that some posters think Martin is a saint.
