It's got loads of good stuff in there, cheers. Better than their start of year sale.
I recommend REM's latest - 'Reveal'. Its excellent.

Play247.com have good value CDs too. And their price includes delivery.

I haven't bought a CD in a shop for over a year now. It amazes me when I see queues of people in HMV/Virgin with chart CDs they are buying at about 4-5 quid dearer than on-line stores.

cdwow.com is good value for money as well.. every CD (barring doubles) is £8.99 inc Delivery and the selection isnt too bad - they have most new releases and quite a few old ones, although nothing compared to Audiostreet.

Yeh, and you'll find they deliver in a few days - quite bizarrly via airmail! thats probably a clue as to how they offer good prices.

I've ordered loads of CDs off them and haven't encountered a problem.

(I think if anything warrants blatent site advertising I think my posts more than satisfy the requirements on this occasion)

Buy cdwow

I ordered a couple of CD's from CDWow a year or so ago - bought Dido and Papa Roach, both were mailed from Hong Kong and are Far Eastern editions - the Dido has a differant cover to that available over here.

I buy most of my CD's from HMV - I like browsing through the racks and nothing like buying a new CD and going home to listen to it straight away

To be honest I've never bothered that CDwow's Far East CD's may or may not have a different cover.

I'll happily forego that for a £4/5 saving.

Well all these excellent sites and Kazaa have never heard of DJ Marky and I am desperate to find his album THE BRAZILIAN JOB on a "high street" name website rather then a dodgy foreign-based site that I've never heard of. I might even have to pay high street prices if I can find such an obscure album in the shops. Any further suggestions? Not sifting thru the junk Google returns on "cd shops"

Tesco have announced that they're going to sell top 40 CD's for 8.99 That should give a kick up the ar$e to over-priced HMV and Virgin.

I use CDwow all the time for chart stuff. Very reliable. The "foreign" versions sometimes means that you get extra tracks over the UK version (but sometime lose them too..)

I also get CD's at a very decent price. £2.50 a disk off my mate at the pub. I can also get VCD's at £4-a-pop and very well priced PC software. Adobe Pagemaker 6.5 at £5 can't be bad, especially when it's something like £700 quid in the shops.

Piracy, you can't beat it.

Do you ever check out the"bargain bin"of your local music shops? Its a great laugh some of the pathetic stuff in there! In my local you look in and see the likes of some Spice Girls album from 96 up for a fiver.Nobody would be seen dead buying that!Lord knows it was shameful enough when some people actually thought they were good!Theres also plenty of stuff from pop bands who were popular for about a month 6 years ago.So what do you find?
