If Ian held a normal PoV he couldn't be nominated at all. But Frank was talking about nominating him to prevent him using his Veto on someone other than himself.

but as far as im aware a player has never held a PoV before the PoV competition and just because you win a PoV doesnt mean you have to take yourself of.
So Technically a PoV winner can be nommed.
Shane tells Frank he would shave his head if necessary, to win the Veto.

Sorry I'm sure that's wrong. The PoV holder is immune. Ian is not immune.

This is why I was asking about the order the PoV's get used. I'm assuming the normal PoV has to be first otherwise Ian's one is pretty pointless. Normal PoV means you can't be nominated at all. Ians PoV means he can be nominated but only as the original replacement. Its the only thing that makes sense to me.
If Ian could be nominated after using his PoV its not really much of a power.

i could be wrong but if i am its going to be a pretty boring week as it'll be dan/shane deffo going imo.
As i say has a HG ever held a PoV before the PoV competition as far as im aware the answer is no so it seems nobody is sure what the rules are to ian's PoV.

Exactly if its not a normal PoV then whats the point in it as whoever won it was never going to get nominated because theyed use it if were to be nominated and if there not immune they were never going to use it on anybody else.
so if thats case itd be a pretty much useless power.

It would mean his Veto would be limited for use on himself only. Still pretty useful if the HoH is your enemy.

There are two PoV's.
This convo isn't saying Ian can be nominated after using his own PoV, if anything it is saying the exact opposite. If Ian can be nominated after using his own PoV (on someone else) then there is no reason at all for Ian to do it/Frank to be worried. Just tell Ian, "use your veto and I will put you up" and its done, case closed.
What its actually saying is because there are 2 PoV's Ian is not immune from being the first replacement nominee (ie make him use his veto on himself rather than anyone else).
My take on it using logic at least. Obviously there is always the chance that production haven't told the houseguests how this will work either so the rules of Ian's PoV will be made up to best suit who Grodner wants to save.

Agree if Ian wasnt immune if he uses it on someone else then why would Frank even be worried that Ian would use it on somebody else.
Because if he isnt immune then there is No Way he would even consider using it on someone else.
So the fact frank is worried that he would use it on someone else means either the HG's suspect Ian is immune if uses it on someone else or they have been told that.

I meant replacement but that is an interesting idea. If Ian's PoV really is like a normal one in that he can't be a replacement at all then Frank is in serious trouble. If Brit/Shane win PoV all of the QP are safe. It would probably make more sense to work like that but that would make the Ian's PoV ridiculously powerful. If it does work like that Frank is powerless to get any of his top 5 enemies out of the house

Exactly if it works like mindset is suggesting why not of had pandora's box be a pass for the week.
I honestly think it works like me and you fab think it works and it'll all come to how much the QP trust one another and it'll make for a very interesting week

The Golden PoV and the Diamond PoV have their own distinct rules. Ian's Ping-Pong Ball PoV (LOL) must have it's own rules too. I just wish I knew what they were....
