Sugababes - Taller In More Ways (Mutya)
Their finest album - they built on Angels and Three and delivered a killer album. Top of their game and I had SUCH high hopes for their future....then December 2005 Mutya pisses off and the downward spiral began.
They would have been huge today had whatever troubles they had been resolved. Ace Reject is pop genius. |

Didn't Keisha come out and say though that Mutya added very little to Taller In More Ways but they always had an agreement to split the royalties 3 ways? I'm sure I remember her saying that.
I agree though. Their best album. |

I only know the singles from this album (wasn't Push The Button one of them? I love that song). Is it worth getting?

@cnbcwatcher - That's right, Push The Button was the lead single from TIMW & a fine one indeed
. The album (with Mutya's vocals) is worth checking, it's got lots of gems incl. their cover of Obsession & Ace Reject, which is defo one of the highlights from the album. And Hit Them Up Style is right, she had very little input when making the album so a departure came in hindsight as no surprise. I'd disagree that Mutya had issues with the band. At the time, she stated having a little girl prompted her decision to leave and whatever issues she had with Heidi when she first came in were resolved by the time Three came out. She even gave a sort of tribute to her time in the band in the video of Real Girl. |

Plus the singles if you don't already own them. I mean personally its one of my least favourite Sugababes albums, but I'm definitely in the minority there. Almost all of their fans rate it very highly. |

A pretty strong album but not their best, IMO (I have a lot of love for Angels With Dirty Faces) but I agree that Ace Reject/Push The Button really justify buying the album.
I think I actually prefer the Amelle version to the Mutya one, but it's great either way. |
