purchasing apps from itunes

I recently set up my debit card in itunes to purchase apps. I bought one for 69p to check my card worked. when I checked my bank account itunes have took £1.58 instead of the 69p has anyone had this before.

Don't know but I never use by debit card with any online facility. My own view is if you don't want to use a credit card, buy one of those top up cards in Tesco for itunes and use that.

If you get ripped off or someone hacks your account they can't scam you or steal card details etc. the most you will lose it whatever credit is on the account.

I've not experienced it. They will send you a receipt through email that you can double check.

Just strange how they've took £1.58 for a 69p transaction. may have to get onto them.

Some companies do that to combat fraud in case a card has been stolen.
