O2 Online PAC codes
Hi,
When you obtain a PAC code from an operator do you HAVE to join another service provider? My contract with O2 online has expired and as a result I'm entitled to an upgrade. I'm interested in getting the the SE K700i which as an upgrade to my existing contract is currently £79.99. If I were to set up a new contract with O2 Online I can get the phone for free under the same contract. (Online off peak 500mins, 500 txts) Is it possible to set up the second account with O2 Online and then port my number across to it? I've looked at other operators and I can't see a good deal for me that would give me the sort of deal I'd like. I don't use the phone much in the day (stick to work phone and email!) but I do send a fair amount of text messages (~400 a month) Failing this, any tips on how I can haggle with O2 to get the price of the upgraded phone down - pretend I'm leaving them for a better offer when on doesn't actually exist perhaps? Cheers |

Yeah, just tell them that other networks are happy to provide the services that they can't. I find that it often just depends on who you get on the phone - some can be fantastic help, whereas others will do nothing for you!
