Hi guys,

Just caught this earlier today - the show follows Faith Evans as she tries to put together a compilation album to raise money for Whitney Houston's charity after she died.

The show also features four other female r&b singers from the 90's and early 00's (Syleena Johnson, Keke Wyatt, Monifah and Nicci Gilbert from Brownstone), all of who never really got a lot of recognition despite being amazing singers

I don't think the show will be on in the UK but I saw the first episode online:

I was a bit dissapointed that there wasn't much singing footage but hopefully this will improve. The season trailer looks pretty good:

As a big fan of 90's R&B, I think they could have done a bit better with the people appearing. I've never even heard of Keke Wyatt. I suppose Faith Evans is the main draw, but i suspect most of the other big 90's names probably have their own reality shows - I'm fairly sure Monica does at the very least.

I think Keke was put in to cause drama. She was mainly famous for stabbing her husband shortly after her first album was released (I think her album sales went up after it as well lol). She's definitely a great singer though.

One of the main reasons I wanted to see it was Nicci. Brownstone were one of my favourite girl groups in the 90s and I kind of hoped they would re-unite like SWV, but doesn't look like that will happen now unfortunately.

Very poor line-up. Monica, Chilli, T-Boz and En Vogue would be more like it.

That would be a great line-up, mind you judging by the recent stories about en vogue I think it would be pretty hard to get them in the same room at the moment !
