Apparantly, Carol and Arlene don't get on and want to punch the lights out of each other!!! (no, I'm not joking). What do you folks think of the situation.

Come on, someone must have an opinion on this. If you don't believe me just read this weeks Now Magazine. It also has news on Natasha and Brenden.

Do you really believe what is printed in magazines. They do so that you will buy the scandle sheet.

Yep I believe they didn't get on. Arlene also admitted on ITT to having had bust-ups (or something to that effect) this series with a contestant after a show but she seemed to not care in the least and she shouldn't. She gave her opinion right or wrongly and it should be taken as that. She doesn't speak for the nation. If I was Carol I'd be disappointed with my performance in the show. It was obvious she was in for a long run (I liked her notebook notations) but I think think expectations were too high for her. I am guilty of that also. She was one I looked most forward to watching because I thought she'd pick up the dancing quickly with being intelligent and in show business. I think maybe she was partnered with the wrong guy. She was not made to look flattering in that awful Rumba routine and I feel sorry for her that she was given that routine and that style. There was no class/elegance in the performance at all and she was trying very hard.

Arlene reminds me of a whale, Carol had every right to want to smack her one!

Funny that - I too expected Carol to be one of the best, but it just goes to show that being brainy at maths and generally articulate doesn't mean you'll be a good dancer. I kind of had the feeling she was the annoying type of person who would be good at everything - and I have a feeling she thought so too so I was glad to be proved wrong!

Carol wrote a diatribe weeks ago, after she'd been voted out. Arlene didn't take too kindly to it

Cant abide either of them, but I loathe Carol a tad more, so I'd say she was a prima dona, with no skill who just couldn't take any criticism

Carol just needs to accept the fact that she is a crap dancer. The Judges are there to criticise.

Her gyrating and gurning during that rumba 'performance' was beyond belief.

I also thought that Carol would be one of the best. I remember before the show had started they had pictures of the the celebs and their professional partners and from the poses they pulled I said who would be good and who wouldnt. But my God was her Rumba bad! It had no flow whatsoeva. It just looked like a series of Rumba steps done one by one and it was awful. Maybe Paul was drunk for the whole week of the Rumba and insanely thought that what he was producing was good.

Yep, I'll weigh in on the side of the "I thought Carol would be good" statements.

But when she got on that dancefloor - boy was she bad! I think she may have benefitted from different tuition. She was still rubbish though.

Anyone know why she wasn't with the other contestants tonight when they all came back?

Oooh.. I never noticed until now when you mention it. THey weren't shown on many of the clips either. I did read somewhere that she wasn't going to appear on the show unless Arlene wasn't there? maybe?

Neither could Carol do 'sexy' - Didn't she look at herself in the mirro r ONCE when she was being sexy? Why didn't her partner explain to her she looked as though she thought she was in a very bad porno film?

I would think Ms V is extremely embarrassed by her performance, even worse knowing that clips of it are going to be shown and laughed at for a very long time.

Didn't she allegedly hurt her back, tear a muscle or something, doing her last dance? Could be the reason. To be honest I didn't notice she wasn't there either!

I actually did, and just thought it must've been the Arlene thing. Bad show, Carol. Not that I missed her or anything, in fact, I'm glad she wasn't there, but, anyway, she should've been, as even Sarah and Brendan made the effort!

Yes I was surprised that Sarah & Brendan had made the effort. I noticed during the rehearsal clips shown on ITT that Sarah was dancing alone..

Didn't she look vile? and they do keep showing that 'erotic' clip - wasn't she compared with something out of Lord of The Rings??
