I'd agree with this. Much as I'd like him to sing his own stuff I think he needs to sing something 'known' and put his style on it (as he does so well).

No sing off this weekend, surely takes off a lot of the pressure.

First song didn't work for him imo....but his 2nd performance was gold...that should be enough to see him through!.

me too, i really really want him to win. i see on twitter he's gaining support even from young men who also see him as credible and cool enough for them so there's a good chance for "breaking the curse" as well

I'm tied between wanting him to finish third or win it. I thought about how he could be the successful, more noted, second place act like Olly or JLS but the thought of him being on stage and its announced the other contestant has won, I think I'd be a bit gutted.
