Just a quick warning to anyone on Talkmobile going abroad to non EU countries that are still in the European Economic Area, or have been to any of those countries.
Talkmobile have/are overcharging customers traveeling to EEA countries.
EU roaming charges apply to EEA countries as well such as Norway and Iceland ( who are not in the 'full' EU ) which cap data at around 69p per MB howefver Talk mobile are in breach of these rules and are charging customer £7.50per mb of data

which works out at £7,500 per GB as opposed to £69 perGB, which means that Talkmobile are ilegaly overcharging custmers £7,431 per GB for data roaming in the European Economic Area

It's all true, the new legislation from the EU has come into force, and Ofcom will have to enforce it should any users complain. It seems odd that Talk Mobile have ignored this, every other operator, certainly the major ones have all complied.

Have Talk Mobile been contacted to check whether it is simply an error on their website?

When I went abroad (Spain) at the end of July, I tried out a few of my PAYG SIMs to see what each of the networks would do:

Tesco and Giffgaff didn't send the required "welcome" text to outline charges

Vodafone's message had the old rates from before July 1st.

Virgin sent the most information (clearly highlighting their roaming data bundles).

T-Mobile and Three sent a single text with information about charges.
