I think this is an absolutely flawless album! It's just great!

I think it's certainly eclectic, but I'm not sure it's in a good way.

I didn't really know how I felt when the album ended, I'll probably give it another listen tomorrow to see if I feel any differently.

I love I Want You Back and Let The Music Play.
Nothing though tops Wild Young Hearts. I had that song on constant repeat today. It is such a wonderful pop song.

It's a different sound for them, but still retains their identity which is a great thing.

All the reviews say this. I`m gonna get it,but `That Girl` hasn`t really filled me with anticipation. `Eclectic` like Prince is great, but for most acts `eclectic` means they`ve lost their way,and are trying anything for a hit.

It's really good. It's like clever pop. I love it already. I love 'That Girl' as the single too.

First listen and I can say its a quality album. For me I think its quite the opposite of trying to hard for a hit, if they wanted to do that they could easily have done what a lot of other artists have done and went for Guetta esque beats.

I like it, but I don't think it's flawless. There are some absolutely great tracks on there (I Want You Back, Let The Music Play, Ragtop Car, Never Enough). All of those tracks are eclectic and very catchy. I genuinely can see myself listening time and again to these songs.

However with an album that genre hops as much as this one you will almost certainly not like some of the tracks- the ballads feel rather clicheed to me in particular Travelling Light. The single Winner is equally disappointing imo, as is the title track. Many of the others pass me by without much of an impression.

So as I said I do like it, but I don't love it!

I`m pretty much here with it,except I only think Winner and That Girl really hit you between the eyes, the rest pass by,with Travelling Light being plain meh There isn`t that much genre-hopping imo,it all sounds `two-step` riddims without a real bass and drum solid foundation to it. They miss the third member of the band, and the singer doesn`t seem to be playing her bass anymore that I can hear.
I reckon she should go solo,Mark Ronson or Bernard Butler would probably crawl over broken glass to work with her,and she`d have a big pool of songs and songwriters, the other guy can just rein himself in and play guitar as a sideman.

I like it though some of the songs sound a bit too experimental rather than being polished tracks to be perfectly honest. I really love Contact though, it's a gorgeous track.

Dunno if it`s experimental,it`s like they`ve put down the bones of a song (they seem to have similar backings imo),kind of demos, but they haven`t worked out appropriate arrangements and given it a production polish. `Ragtop` especially sounds like a noodle (it reminds me of a Fleetwood Mac track on `Rumours` that`s just guitar and voice with little else) on a guitar with some lyrics thrown over. The Noisettes used to have real depth in their tracks and nice detail in their arrangements.
