Tell you what Nat B voters - If you vote Anastacia as well, I will vote Nat B. aswell, that way there can be a decent final.

OOoo yay for the Nat voters!

I DO like Left Outside Alone very much, but These Words is definitely my song of this year so I feel obliged to vote for it

Come on Ms. Bedingfield!

Would def like Anastacia to come second though also loved the Maroon 5 song!

What was Anastacia on, she seemed out of it???

So far Anastacia would get my vote. Quite disappointed at the selection of songs, but that's pretty normal for this programme, I mean last year, Westlife...Mandy!! no way was that the best record of the year, it was nothing more than a poor cover.

Busted??? McFly??? No Keane (one of the outstanding acts of the year)

Not really a good reflection on the British music scene this show.

Just like me then, we are both over 12 years old.

I am not really into pop music but I did think that Babycakes-3 of a kind was the best pop type hit this year. I don't think that Babycakes charted in this competition so my vote in this competition would have gone to Natasha Beddingfield.
I do not like Anastacia's music much at all and find her music extremly depressing in the main and especially so the Left outside alone song.

I wanted Maroon 5 to go through with This Love but oh well. There's still 2005.

I agree, she sang it so well, hers was the only performance that gave me Goosebumps.

Yes, definitely, Kate should have won, she performed a beautiful song brilliantly.

Even though it was released in 2003?

Yep I knew from the start that either Busted or McFly would get it, its ridiculous this show. The show that last year gave it to Westlife - Mandy! In a year that saw Beyonce Crazy In Love, Blu Cantrell Breathe, Sean Paul and a hell of a lot of top songs. And Westlife with their drippy ballady bullcrap, I wouldnt' mind it was only out three weeks, it shouldn't have even been nominated.

Busted Record of the Year, uhmm I dont' think so.

As long as it wasn't in last year's list that doesn't matter. Will's song was also released in 2003 - he should have won it but I didn't expect him to.

Did you notice that when Cat announced it she pointed out that it had sold 500,000 copies! That's what makes it Record of the Year in my book. That, and his amazing singing!
