It would make more sense to add some of their missing channels before adding exclusives. One of the True Channels in HD though? You'd think they would sort out widescreen 16:9 playout before taking the leap to HD.

Is all quite confusing. Sky 1+1 when we already have sky 2. Channel 4+1 but already have 5.
All we need now is a dating channel called 'singles' then later a 'singles+1' to really confuse.

It'll be worth keeping a eye on the Netflix situation as apparantly VM customers will get a 6 month free trial. Source via another forum with a screenshot.

They did announce that when they moved to their new studios they would be launching an HD similicast shortly after but I tweetd them recently asking why the delay and they are now saying no plans for an HD channel.

There is a QVC HD in Germany but that doesn't really guarantee they'll do the same here.

QVC seems to have declined massively in the UK over the past few years as they have little variety and seem to sell the same stuff constantly now.

I'm paraphrasing. Only FOX+ is testing, although they are peddling rumours on the "other forum" of two channels tomorrow and the Sky Atlantic/HD channels not on Virgin rumours are being peddled once again.
