Can you quit it with the Meeja boy thing now it's not funny and it's not clever , grow up.
Let's get this thread back on topic and post about new channels instead of arguing , people can choose which ever forum they use and many people use both cf and dspy so drop it.
On a plus note i only just realised Tiddlers tv has started broadcasting that's my tv lost when my little niece comes to visit lol.

Yeah this website has caused the last pages' arguments due to pathetic things like using the name "Meeja Boy" and apparently members on here threatening members on there...

Over on Sky and Freesat in the coming months the NOW Music people are to launch a music channel, which is yet to be decided by Virgin Media at present

Apparently Sattelite John told MB about Viacom Shake up. He didn't as I am the one who told MB, as I work for a Viacom Subsidary. Let's stop this patheticness

Viacom and other huge conglomerates tend to leak like a sieve, but there's nothing at all about any "shake up", not even rumours. Who or what is affected?

There are rumours, as I just said, I work for a Subsidary of theirs. Rumors started when people felt possible job losses.

And email from the top came to state their would be a shake up within the TV and International Buisness which won't result in job losses and only if they can find a suitable and more cost effective way of running things.

My comment was more the fact Sattelite John came here to try and make a mockery of CableForum.

mockery of CableForum.
An forum is an forum in the end really. They can all contain tit for tat nonsense and appalling spelling/grammar sometimes.

Except this one. Criticise CF or Meeja Boy and DS revoke our right to discuss this topic.

I didn't think that Netflix was testing here in Manchester on Virgin. I certainly have no issues with PQ or stuttering when watching Netflix on my Smart TV or Xbox if that is what you are referring to.

Netflix isnt testing in Manchester, however it might be on boxes at the head ends, to be fair its normally best to take what AsianChannel says with a pinch of salt

As a neutral observer, this obsession with what is happening elsewhere is both unhelpful and unhealthy and the best thing to do is ignore such aspects and concentrate only on legitimate sources of media industry information such as the likes of Broadcast Now, Brand Republic, Media Guardian, Overnights TV, Virgin Media press office etc. that will actually have hard news about Virgin Media and potential new channels.

If there were a Like function on Digital Spy, I would like post #751 above.

I remember speculating on this forum that VH1 might be replaced by the new SD version of MTV Live last year. I was surprised to discover soon after that my (incorrect) speculation had appeared on the 'MediaBoy' blog.

Have you checked the VM Press Office, the last article was Netflix launching, failing to note More4HD launches, CBS launches etc.

With ongoing posts like that, I would not be at all surprised if the moderators, quite understandably, lock this thread which should be about new channels coming to Virgin Media based on legitimate news sources and not endless and unhelpful references to places and individuals elsewhere.

At least that post is thankfully on topic. If you think that Virgin Media aren't doing a good enough job about letting customers know about new channels and future developments then let them know and give them a piece of your mind: http://about.virginmedia.com/ourworl...entre/contacts, press(at)virginmedia.co.uk

No need to be surprised by this, OD. The 'Coming Soon' thread started by Media Boy is about rumours as well as stuff gleaned from insiders and more trusted sources.

The rumours are clearly marked, and the fact that he picked yours up shows that he is doing his job. Unpaid, to boot.

At least that interesting but non-committal comment comes from a reputable source namely Premier Sports' own Twitter feed so who knows what might happen. One interpretation might be that private discussions are ongoing between Premier Sports and Virgin Media just as there were between BT and Virgin Media.

I have bud, but they don't improve. The best place to hear about new channels is the changelog threads on here and on CableForum!

OK, ocav, do these links work for you? https://twitter.com/PremierSportsTV/...82031820873728 https://twitter.com/PremierSportsTV/...79770198388736

If not then please let me know. I'd say they were cryptic but promising.

If that means I get to see NHL again then I'm all for it. Even though I've heard that channel is rather subpar in the standards stakes.
