Can you people please stop playing petty games in this thread?

I can honestly say that most of us who read this are NOT INTERESTED.

We simply want to know the latest information - not all your mindless squabbles.
I've blocked the troll so you'll get no more from me.

On topic again with MGMHD being available for £5p/m on Sky as a standalone channel what's the possibility of it coming to VM for the same price?

I really wish CF users would stop dragging this thread into the gutter by personalising their posts against anyone who doesn't dote on Meeja Boy or his thread. Many valuable posts are being lost as days of posts get deleted entirely.
Seriously

I only have a 32inch tv atm that's most likely why i don't hardly see any difference between HD and SD.
No doubt when i get my 42inch tv in December i will most certainly see a huge difference between HD and SD.
But if the resolution is the same then a 32" will appear to have better picture quality than a 42" when viewed from the same distance because it has the same number of pixels squeezed into a smaller area.

Why don't you stop it with your Meeja boy crap then. You're part of the reason posts get deleted so don't blame others when it's you who's constantly stirring things up.
Why you haven't been banned yet i'll never know.
From now on i'm not going to respond to any of your coments because i don't want to see this thread deleted and because you simply aren't worth it.
I've not been banned because I work within the terms and conditions. Unlike your friend Oliver Caveney who insists upon insulting me at almost every turn and misrepresents his status when required to give his own posts greater weight then they deserve.

Yes, 53 posts since 2008 plays 4600 since 2007. Your contribution to this forum is actually nil compared to mine. In reality you will be a duplicate account of another user lacking in friends.

Maybe this thread needs to be closed, as it has descended into arguments.

I seriously hope MGM HD comes, I've been looking forward to it for a while. It's currently £5 separate or included in Sky Movies isn't it?

Don't know what it is but HD B&W films always look fantastic!

Oliver I can call you anything I please as long as it is not an insult. The fact you leave an e-trail over the Internet that is contradictory has nothing to do with me.

Last night you claimed a Meeja Studies degree but it appears you are 19 and only have an A-level. While embarrassing to be found out I'm sure, it doesn't mean we think any less of you.

Considering almost 10% of your posts on this forum relate to me, despite being a member for years, I would contend you have the obsession.

Its probably from your linked Twitter account or searching that name on Facebook if you don't have your privacy settings enabled.

Close this Thread
Rename the new thread created by TV-Mad Alan on the main page (about BBC Three/CBBC HD)

I would imagine the fact that the moderators have already, repeatedly, removed off-topic posts, only for more to be added, must be very frustrating.

Sorry for my previous post. We should all try to get along. Stop these petty arguments. Ultimately we are all just interested in channel launches on Virgin Media.
Can you people please stop playing petty games in this thread?

Indeed, guys, and it's time to discuss matters (and stay on topic) such as those posted by 1andrew1 below:

I think the Premier Sports posts got removed as they were jammed between others that were seen as off-topic. The two points were:
1) Premier Sports' Facebook page "Craig Sherwood: Great news, any update on Virgin yet? [23 hours ago]
Premier Sports No but you never know. Things can move quickly. [20 hours ago]
2) If I remember correctly,Technix said he had heard a deal between the two companies was looking more likely. If so, channel 551 would be the channel number.
That Facebook post and the two previous Twitter tweets do indeed seem to hint that Premier Sports and Virgin Media are in discussions. That said, I wish they'd get on with it!

Isn't MGM HD free with the full movie package?

Yes it's possible, certain courses are short term as the practical element is more important. Now let's get back on topic.

Great news about about. Premier Sports, been a long time coming. I'm kind of glad it's a premium channel though, there isn't enough sports in the XL Pack, and as a non-sports fan I'd much prefer to see the money spent elsewhere, perhaps on Netflix discounts.
