Still nothing launching, nothing testing, and loads of speculation.

Im surprised BBC HD channels aren't testing yet, they seem to be testing on every other platform! |

Have you had to re-sign up?

As I've said it's not like Virgin are new at launching HD channels. The Olympics went online "late" (in terms of distance in advance) if I remember right. |

Apparently Total Channels has gone up by 1 last night with no new channels launched. Don't suppose you could have a check? |

A music barker channel VMPlaylist. The EPG states it's Christmas Crackers all day.

Early December for the BBC HD channels I think
This will negate the need for viewers to have to switch back to SD to watch local progammes, such as the regional news. Quote:
Personally, If I wanted to watch the christmas films, id watch them on Channel 5 cause its HD. Not sure the need for a deal apart from it sounds like True Movies don't have enough Christmas films to change the name!
Good point about HD, I never thought about that. |

And there's more to come! Got told today that the BBC have informed VM that, subject to finances and approval, they intend to start rolling out the BBC1 regions in HD from 2014.
Due to the way the BBC works, you will hear about the Regional HD variations from them before they even start discussing with the channel providers. |

Check your source on that one... It's been stated multiple times not only by BBC Management, on the BBC Trust website and by Alix Pryde on BBC Points of View that BBC Management must submit their proposal to the Trust in January for approval.

I think they intend to have completed the change by 2017.

Reading both posts I think you're both in agreement ie "subject to approval". It's realistic that the BBC would discuss its current thinking on HD channels too.

That was actually mentioned on POV last week
I think they intend to have completed the change by 2017.

I've just tried to watch it, but it keeps on buffering.
Was anything extra said in addition to what I posted earlier about the timetable for the rollout of the BBC1 HD regions? |

Seriously the TV Anywhere app launching on Android was subject to a "do not post" order?

Yes, because certain companies don't want factual information getting out. Prior to that, everything was rumour.

Is it correct that TV Anywhere is for TiVo customers only?
Also we've lost two channels on tne EPG. I know one is the BBC HD Red Button stream, does anyone know what the other channel was that has been removed? |

Does anyone know when some of the missing channels will be coming from Sky to Virgin ie Trace Sports, Fox News, Sky Atlantic, Sky News HD, Sky Sports News HD, etc?
