I see that the EPG total has gone down by one following the removal of Style that recently closed.

I assume that a 'closed down' slate was transmitted for a week or so.

We're going in the wrong direction

Style closing was hardly on the level of losing the basic Sky channels a few years ago.

In fact, one less stream of dog wee to avoid!

Style, an E! channel remix also had no point in being there. The American channel it was based on "closed" long ago, as they repositioned the resource into a more FHM than Heat based format (and that is not coming to the UK). It was not VM that pulled the channel, but the channel's makers.

The problem I have with a lot of the "extra channels" is they are on what seems to be high compression/low quality carriage. Take CBS Action and ask yourself which bright spark thought having a channel dedicated to "action" should be broadcast where "high rate screen changes" cause blocky pixellation to occur (and thus "ruin" the "action")

Yes, I remember reading about that earlier this year and did wonder how long the UK channel would last. It hasn't been on VM for that long, perhaps it was kept going slightly longer for contractual reasons??

Virgin Media have decided to keep Premier Sports in the M+, L and XL packs until 28/2/14.

The 'experiment' was due to end very soon, but I have been told that analysts want more time to decide the long term future of the channel on VM.

when we getting true movies 2 I see they changed true movies to true movies 1. Also when will clubland come to VM as I miss that channel.

Anyone got email address for virgin media?

Anyone else noticed the red button on BBC 1 is now recordable? Sorry if it's been mentioned.

Presumably due to the return of the 99n channels for the Sochi Winter Olympics.

I know this isn't a new channel per se, but what's the deal with Premier Sports? I thought they were going sub in January.. have they thankfully changed their minds?

Has this been confirmed by VM yet? I've not heard anything about a price.

Asian Channel Views: More CSC Media Group channels set to launch on Virgin Media?

Virgin Media last signed a deal with CSC Media back in February 2011 when POP was axed to make way for True Entertainment.

So based on that I think we may see the following channels launch in the coming months on Virgin Media:

•Bliss
•BuzMuzik
•Chart Show TV
•Chart Show Dance
•Flava
•Scuzz
•The Vault
•Kix
•Pop
•Pop Girl
•True Drama
•True Movies 2

Why would a deal signed in February 2011 mean channels appearing this year? Surely the channels would have appeared in 2011 soon after the deal was inked?

You learn not to take notice of anything Asian Channel posts here mate. He copies posts and passes them of as his own.

It does appear to make no sense whatsoever. It is just idle speculation.

As Asian Channel is bringing information from other forums here I can't see what the problem is. I rarely see sources credited on other fora.

Sources on other forums are quoted as "A Poster on FORUM NAME"

Based on other broadcasters, most carriage agreements last around 2/3 years and that would suggest a new carriage deal is to be struck soon.

So the source doesn't get credit. My posts get lumped in with literally anybody and their idle speculation.
