It is also annoying that you cannot always rely on the TIVO to find another programme.

It should if there's another showing available. Try a specific wishlist rather than a SL if some shows are repeated on a different channel in the same week (like the soaps, for example.)

My Digiguide has just added this channel. It claims it will be on channel 152.

yes it is but they are ditching Channel 5*+1 so you win and lose all at the same time + Channel 5+24 may have restricted hours.

May? It's only broadcasting from 7pm to 12am. That's restricted.

5+24 will be on VM and Sky 24/7 - but in loops of programming. Quote:

Think you should read the articles it suggests 5 will only be showing programming between 7pm and the early hours with the rest being teleshopping.

There are two versions of channel 5 +24. One for cable and satellite and another for Freeview (which shows less programmes and more Teleshopping).

This is a disaster. The channel is not shown in the TV magazines, and so the programming will not be known to most people. I think Channel 5 will be very disappointed with the small number of viewers who will be watching this channel. They would have been better leaving it as it was.
As it is, tv magazines only sell to about 3m people so most people don't read them. |

Those who record everything (like me!) might find it useful for extreme clash-avoidance

True, but thought it worth mentioning as there may be times when three tuners are simply not enough

![]() I often wish I could record as many as five shows at once and I often have to record +1s or repeat showings due to having all three tuners in service at once. I live with my parents (as they are in poor health) and I'm often recording stuff for them as well as myself and it isn't unusual for us to all want to see a different show on the main TV at once or for there to be overlaps. |

If you set them as series link it will always/auto find the 4th at the next showing. I have 4 series links set to record Wed Night 9pm, as the fourth is not recorded at 9 it records the next time its on - 1pm

How do you get that to work? I get a message that says it will clip the recording of another programme, so I need to manually record on a +1 channel to avoid this.
