No thanks, I pays my VIP sub for exactly that. Sky Sports in HD.

We have enough movies already in the form of:

Netflix,
Filmflex
Picturebox
Sky Movies
Film 4
TCM
Sky On Demand

Do we need any more?

Granted for sports we got

Sky Sports
EuroSport
Premier Sports
BT Sport
Extreme Sport
Racing UK

I meant free channels - Only have 3 movie channels compared to sky - and most of those are old.
Also I said cheaper Filmflex/virginmovioes which had been taken over again by way

Its all a bit sad really.”

The renumbering was a Sky initiative and formed part of the negotiations to secure carriage for the remaining HD sports channels.”

Just to add that further radio data has been removed to accommodate the additional channels for the Commonwealth Games.

All radio stations will now only show now/next EPG data.

I have been told that no decision has been made as to whether to make this permanent or not.

This does not affect TiVo users.

With the news that the WWE Network should be in the UK by October is there any chance Virgin Media will pick it up?

Is it a linear channel over in the states?
If not, I'd assume we'd just get access to it over the web.

It isn't on a channel as such it is an online on demand service available on consoles and Apple TV etc. Just wondering if Virgin could add it to their on demand section for a monthly fee.

Do you know if it's available on TiVo boxes across the pond?

Not sure mate I know it's available on Xbox and Playstation and Apple and streaming devices such as Roku though. When Canada get it their big cable company are putting it available as on demand I believe.

I can't see it happening personally. Virgin would have to negotiate directly with WWE for this. Maybe Sky could have some WWE Network programming on Sky Sports?

NXT is something that isn't broadcast on TV in the states but Sky Sports show it, same goes with Superstars I believe. So something similar could happen with WWE Network possibly. All speculation, I guess time will tell.

I've seen speculation with web articles suggesting that the WWE Network in the UK is likely to be in partnership with Sky as WWE signed a deal for ALL WWE PPVs to be on Sky Box Office in the UK and there will not be a single PPV on Sky Sports after that. They had already dwindled from being the majority of PPVs to being rare but now they're going completely.

There are suggestions of far less content, no PPVs on the network and it being more expensive.

I had hoped it would be around the same price, have the same content and be easier than using the US version in terms of not having to use a proxy (and getting a better connection as a result) or having to pay via the US and not having any customer service access as UK viewers aren't really meant to use it at present.

I want WWE Network but I want to pay £6-10, get ALL the US content and ALL the PPVs, past and present.

We're the second biggest WWE market in the world and I want exactly the same as the biggest market.

Has it been confirmed that TruTV will launch on Virgin today at 1pm as it is on Sky, Freeview and Freesat?

There is no placeholder for it. It doesn't look like we're getting it.

Apparently the channel number 245 was expected to host the channel. Not unless it is going to appear shortly after launch.
