Not heard anything, sorry. Don't rule it out though, as Sky kick channels out of their Sub Club, channels will either close or become Free To Air- music channels appear to be more at risk due to declining audience figures.

Some more stupid name changes from tomorrow:

- Gold becomes Christmas Gold.

- Good Food becomes Christmas Food

- ChartshowDance becomes Dancember

- Playboy TV Hot becomes XXX Uniforms

Apparently, Arte are currently in negotiations to be carried on cable.

Some of you may remember this channel from the days of analogue satellite (I think it was on Astra 1D).

It's a French channel that often has English and German soundtracks & subtitles.

On the last channel, not stupid. I finally know where to go for my extra large uniforms, quite hard to find in stores, in fact, very hard

All the Box channels are FTA on satellite including Kerrang and Heat, but for some reason they removed them 2 from freesat

As per MB, 'Bike' starts on VM in the New Year.

It looks to me that this will be a direct replacement for Extreme Sports. Some former Extreme Sports programming will be shown on 'Bike'.

Oh noes! They've started showing decent Japanese and Mexican wrestling recently!

A new TiVo app Channel called Vevo is also said to be starting in mid December. This is a music Channel.
I believe the Vevo test isn't labelled as a Tivo-only service - so it may be an On Demand service available on all set top boxes (similar to Music on Demand). If that's correct, I wonder if it will be a pay per view or pay monthly service - as if it's free (like Vevo videos currently are in YouTube) it would sure cannibalise Virgin's existing service?

I expect we've had out lot for this year. There's normally a change freeze over Christmas.

The new Channel Guide can be found here https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3o...ew?usp=sharing

Hopefully it will answer your questions on which channel(s) are part of which package(s)

There's currently a video on the Tivo discovery bar that states "Virgin Media's music service is changing" so looks like the current music on demand service is being replaced. Quite how this affects V/V+ Box users remains to be seen.

Oh great.... If it's an app that is anything like Netflix and YouTube then it's gonna be a nightmare, the service is OK as an on-demand service.

It could still be an On Demand service for all set top boxes. Whereas apps such as Worldbox and the ClublandAkaChilledNow test have programme info stating "tivo customers only", the Vevo test doesn't, so it's likely it will be available to all customers in some form. Tivo customers currently have a dedicated Virgin Music On Demand app, while V/V+ can still access videos on demand - so it may well remain the same with the new Vevo service.

I hope so as the apps are like pulling teeth, so much 'One moment...' loading and typing is like slower than my nan typing for the first time ever, it just moves around the keyboard so slow. Btw any news to when chilled now etc launches?

VM Takeover (301) and VM Playlist (309) now have EPG guide listing of 'channel no longer available' as of 12 noon on 12 January. All the other music on demand slates are as normal.

As expected, Extreme Sports has now closed. It will be interesting to see if 'Bike' starts tomorrow.
