I would quite like fox news. Missed that when I moved to cable. I know not everyone's cuppa but with US being a big place there was normally always something going on live.

Probably just in time for the last episode of the only show I watch on the channel; which is also in it's final season. Excellent timing!
![]() And if we're to get an actual US feed of a US news channel why couldn't it be a proper, good one like NBC News and not the truly terrible Fox News?

Mike Fries, the VM CEO, said today that he wants VM customers to have "access to everything/the best stuff", but that they are not going to spend billions on exclusive content.
"Netflix is more friend than foe as customers need broadband to access it". Maybe this is why we have now got truTV and after all these years it looks likely that Universal HD will be starting. Apart from the Sony film channels, Spike and Your TV, what else is there to go for? Could Sky Atlantic be back on the agenda? From about 0:08: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b07lfkqb |

Still a few to go, including;
4seven, S4C, CNN, Boomerang, Nick Jr, Disney, Disney Junior, Disney XD, Premier Sports, MUTV, LFC, Box Nation. They were created to help to drive up takeup of Freeview HD devices and will be extended to other platforms at some unknown point. We get S4C HD, but for some reason it's only part time ![]() Of the HD channels that we don't get, it seems that apart from History HD and CNN HD (which is expected to join) there's only childrens channels and standalone premium channels left

@Richardcoulter - no that was all today, but yes it is nice to get another HD channel. but i rarely watched universal channel anyway.
As much as i hate Fox News when i used to watch it for the laughs when i had sky, which was hard to turn of at times, it was soo hilarious to see how bad mouthed the presenters were and nasty people in general. It will be fun to be able to watch it again. When it does finally launch on Virgin soon. RT is another channel i think they should add, but i do not think they will anytime soon. It is just again another funny channel that would be good to watch for the laughable propaganda that channel airs none stop and is soo biased. But if anything i would still love Virgin media to get all those movie channels movies 4 men, also true movies 2, etc and a few others that are on sky and freesat and also on freeview. Hopefully we will get them in the future. COME ON VM get your finger OUT and add them haha Life is too short for things to take soo long all the time.

Fox News SD and some NDTV asian stuff.
There's also Channel 4+1 HD, but this and 4Seven HD are currently Freeview exclusives. Very good to see that Universal HD has finally made it onto VM.
I hope that Spike is next. |

I've just noticed that Film4 and E4 are now available to stream on the TV Anywhere mobile app.
I used to have to use the All4 app to watch these channels, which was a pain because it makes you sit through up to 4 minutes of adverts before you can actually watch the live channel you want. |

(And that you're not too young to get the reference ) ![]() Liberty Global and Discovery Communicatons have signed a new Europe-wide distribution deal, so we should soon see the missing Discovery channels added to TV Anywhere as well. http://www.broadbandtvnews.com/2016/...carriage-deal/ |

I get rather confused by enthusiasm for channels such as Universal. Having looked at their schedule it seems to primarily consist of endless repeats of three programmes: CSI, NCIS and Law & Order.
How many times do people need to watch this tedious, formulaic junk? If you are in doubt about the 'formulaic' try reading this: https://screencraft.org/2016/01/05/t...ision-scripts/ The same stories are simply endlessly retold. |
