Don't you get the weekly email from "virgin media presents" (like the one sky do) that highlights the things coming up in the next week and also announces channel number changes
http://virginmediapresents.com/#all/channelguide I just go to the website each week to have a look, but I doubt the vast majority of non XL customers know it even exists, so will be in the dark about a lot of things. |

They only send the email to Full House (XL) customers.
. may be that will change soon... VM are getting some good business press with their "aggressive" changes (eg they might be getting the tesco mobile boss to run their mobile arm according the the ft to make it more competitive with sky's entry to the mobile market) with the tivo v6, the far better tv anywhere app, the new mobile strategy, the change in how vm links with its european sister companies within liberty global and it's continued build of its own content on demand and channels it carries... they are becoming the serious company we have wanted them to be... they were crap and lazy under branson's milking rather than growing... now they are growing and aggressive.. but they are also going further upmarket and premium priced, so these changes wont be good for everyone... |

Seen a rumour that MTV Trax will join VM in 2017.
Wasn't this the channel that was broadcasting off the EPG on satellite? IIRC it was low resolution and intended for mobile phones. |

This is a very odd carry on.
Perhaps they're going to monitor the ratings before deciding if it's worth the cost of putting the channel on permanently?? |

MTV Trax is a music subscription app, not a TV channel. Basically a limited version of Spotify that was taken off TiVo previously

It's likely that Sony would want Kix proper up on Virgin at some point, their three core kids channels are now all listed on Sky, Freesat and Freeview, so having all three on Virgin would make it easier for things like cross-promotion... |

Odder still, it looks at this stage as though this run of Kix Power may be a Virgin exclusive - I've had a look at the Sky listings for Sunday and Monday for the channels most likely to become Kix Power (Kix +1, which was used for previous runs of KP on ssatellite; Tiny Pop +1 which was used for the recent Pop Max, Pop +1 and Kix itself) and unless the EPG hasn't been updated -which at this late stage of the week is unlikely - all are showing their normal programming.

Rumours have been circulating that BT Sport would be leaving the XL/Full House pack.
This confirms that the information was inaccurate: http://www.seenit.co.uk/confirmed-vi...ree-boxnation/ It also puts to bed any hopes that VM customers who receive BT Sport will start to receive Box Nation at no extra cost. |

Great that the Sky Cinema channels are changing but surely they should've kept Sky Cinema Premiere +1 on 402 as there is no HD variant.

http://www.truecrimetv.co.uk/ So maybe the image at the top has been there for many months? when was the last time you checked the truecrime website? But in any case it is about time we get it, if this does mean it is coming soon. So maybe it will be on 10th jan, the same time that moviemix channel gets rebranded to sony movie channel. Maybe VM signed a new agreement with them again. because new channels only usually appear when they renew contracts, it is rare that new channels appear during. |
