Just seen on pc world website that they are selling the playbook for £129 so just wanted to know if they are any good?

Take it that it has blackberry app world preloaded?

Is it any good for looking on the web and also does app world have many games to download?

If you're into games you may need to check what Android games can be sideloaded. Basically the Playbook can run 'some Android apps' if they are converted to 'bar. files.

If you Google something like "converted Android apps for Playbook" you will find plenty of sites that already give a list of apps and games that will work on the Playbook. I can't speak for games but most of the key apps that are not available directly for the Playbook are available for sideloading, such as Kindle, Dropbox, Tweetdeck, Google maps etc.

Sideloading apps is very easy and only requires the converted file and the sideloading app for your PC

For me the browsing is better on the Playbook than it is on Android (thats using either the standard Android 3 browser, Dolphin or Opera).

Not a huge range of apps available, but whats there seems to be very good.

Just installed 9mm on the playbook - 800+meg game, absolutely fantastic!
