Best mobile phone browser and forum app
Admittedly i'm not a youngster anymore but using a browser on a mobile phone is a chore , perhaps i'm not doing it right . Could someone suggest a browser that has the functionality of a desktop browser and also is there anything that can make forums more accessible .

I use Dolphin Browser HD.
I suggest reading a few reviews about it on the play store. It has some unique features compared to the stock browser. Look at Tapatalk for forums. |

I use the stock pre-JB Android browser, I just love the little thumb controls (though they're far better on tablets, i must admit).
As for browsing forums, just stick with your default web browser IMO - Tapatalk is garbage and needs to die a fiery death. I've heard better things about 'Forum Runner' but, IIRC, it's not free so you have to pay to see if you like it or not and I think it doesn't allow moderating from the app, if that's an issue for you. |

I am always trying browsers but find I always come back to opera mobile has the features I like more than others. I do find however browsers to be quite personal so it is nice to have a choice.

For me it's a combination between the stock Android 2.3 browser, Opera Mobile 11.53 as I find the version 12.XX versions a bit buggy, or occasionally if the 3G network close to me is a bit slow Opera Mini.
Have tried Dolphon, Maxthon & the other similar browsers for Android and they just seemed to be a skin added to the stock browser. What I have found is that some sites will render better on the Opera browsers, whereas some will render better on the stock browser. Hence I just leave the 3 installed I mentioned above. |

On Android I find the best browser available is Dolphin HD, but on the SGS3 the stock browser is the best to use.

Another vote for Dolphin HD but find myself using stock on my Note more and more.

I use Skyfire and Opera mini (for when I'm stuck on 'G').

Skyfire is great, but it's a proxy browser meaning that all webpages are rendered on a proprietary server at Skyfire's offices before being sent back to the device. It all depends on how the end user feels about that.

I like the stock android browser. When I was using the galaxy y I found that opera mini worked best but on the bigger screen devices (note, tab) the stock browser works best.
