What smartphone to get??
hi everyone,
I'm looking to get a new smartphone next week, I need it for facebook, twitter, browsing, games and calls.... I ideally want it to be on three, 'cos i want the £15 a month top up deal... so either that or sim free... I was thinking of getting the samsung galaxy mini, do you reccomend it? I dont really want to spend more than £130-£150 and dont want to have a contract phone... are my requirements too much for my price range?? thx 4 any comments x |

You can always get a current Windows Phone if you don't mind about upgradability.
Nokia Lumia 800 is currently on £15 a month and the lower end Lumia 710 is even less. |

sammy, with regards to screens there is bottom end, middle end and high end.
The Samsung's screen can be considered bottom end. I'd suggest one with middle end screen such as the Sony Xperia Mini. (£100 or less is you look) Its got quite high end tech. The Xperia U is better if you do not mind a bigger phone. Samsung's top end phones are great whist the rest of their stuff is plain. Samsung's £50 Android phones are also OK for the money. |

Avoid Nokia. Windows 8 OS is due out soon and if I am right the current Nokias can not be upgraded to it.
Get the Galaxy Nexus. It is miles better than the iPhone. |

With you budget though I would get used, I have seen good condition phones for £150 or a lot less such as: LG 2x Desire hd Arc s HTC incredible Galaxy S advance All still offer good features |

The HTC Desire C is a cracking little phone and comes complete with Android ICS - There are some OK'ish deals out there starting at £13.50 but weigh up your options and consider buying this phone outright (Mine cost me £124.99 for an unlocked phone) and looking at some SIM only deals to put in your phone. Good luck with your search, hope your let us know what you decided on.
