Browser for Ipad so can view webcams/flash sites?
Hi,
I live to have a look at Earthcam everynow and again and I also like to look http://www.abbeyroad.com/crossing. However they won't work on the Ipad (I presume it's something to do with flash?) and the Earthcam app is rubbish. Is there any way of viewng such sites, perhaps using a different browser, Thanks |

Flash is always going to be a problem for Apple devices. However usually if you hunt around you find an alternative that works. Eg for Abbey Road http://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/abbey...415526682?mt=8

There is the skyfire browser here
Check out the demo video on this page for ipad. Skyfire allows you to view Flash video content on iPhone/iPad. Skyfire processes page loads on the server to detect available video to make this available for streaming to the ios device. In addition Skyfire allows easy switching between desktop and mobile modes. This helps in accessing video content that often is not available for mobile formatted pages. It does not do every form of flash, but their support pages are excellent. |
