google play recomendations
How do you switch it off?
When I had my HTC wildfire I had no problem, but now with the Huawei ascend g300 I get notifications of apps I may like. I presume this is a google play things, but I can't find a way to turn it off thanks people. |

I have to say that I don't get any notifications and neither does my mrs.
How do you get these notifications, through e-mail ? |

No, just as notification on the notification screen, the one that tells you if you got a new message or email and you pull it down to see what the notification is .
Got another one now about blackjack |

I think you have an app that is using air push to put ads in the notification area. Not "illegal", but universally disliked and I think Google is taking steps to prevent it.
Download Airpush Detector from the App store to find what app it is. |

Download Airpush Detector from the App store to find what app it is. Installed on new phone and it detected flashlight widget as the cause, so that have now gone off my phone, I hope the problem is solved. I don't mind adverts inside apps, i realise they have to make their money somewhere if the app is free, but this Air push seems a bit dodgy. I am glad google is going to do somethign about it. Thanks once again. |

Download Airpush Detector from the App store to find what app it is. I kept getting the air push notifications and couldn't find the app that was pushing them, so thanks for that, finally discovered 2 apps pushing the notifications and uninstalled then
