What a farce that would be if he wins, he better not win...................................................................

It's a charity show, not an audition for a dancing career.

Julian has made an outstanding improvement since the start, if people want him to win so be it.

Interesting that Jill and Diane who both had dance classes as children made the final. Which goes to show it wasn't a level playing field in the first place.

LOL! In any program with a public vote, the "worst" has as much chance of winning as the "best". Julian's probably got the biggest fanbase (from outside dancing) and he could easily win it on comedy value alone!

Absolutely pathetic ! This makes a mockery of the whole show !

Yes Julian is very funny, sweet, has a heartwarming relationship with Erin and has come a long way, but this is a DANCING competition, and both his dances tonight rank up there with the worst of the series for me. A foxtrot that put me to sleep, nothing trotting about it, they walked about the floor ! A Jive so ridiculous I laughed; a bit of hand waving, finger clicking and lumbering about the floor is not what the Jive is all about. It's supposed to be bouncy, livlely and energetic. Compare that with Jill and Darren's Jive of a few weeks ago for goodness sake !

Aled and Lilia dance a fantastic tango and a great Paso and they're going home, and even though they weren't my favourites that is a wrong wrong wrong result. Same as Denise being in the bottom two again after that phenomenol dancing she did. Argh, what is wrong with everyone !?

If Julian wins next week which is now sadly a possibility, then SCD loses every ounce of credibility it ever had.

I think a lot of people probably find Julian and Erin's friendship quite touching, and vote on that basis, it's not just that he has a good fan following. I mean, objectively speaking, obviously he's the worst, but he wanted to make her happy, and she wanted to make him happy, and it's so damn-almost-sickeningly cute, even if I do say so myself! It's nice to see a genuine friendship among raw celeb egos and ambitions! I think Len was right - the final would have been poorer without them. I think the final itself will be more likely to be voted for by ability, rather than anything else.

Do feel for Lilia (sp?) though. She did an excellent job with Aled, and Aled showed himself to be a thoroughly likeable person.

I agree Julian and Erin are the one's that show real chemistry, that's something that cannot be taught.

I agree Julian and Erin have what this entire series has been MISSING chemistry!! Its an entertainment show. Not just a dance comp. Julian brings the most entertainment now that Aleds gone. Jill likely is the best dancer. Just dont like how her dance experience has been covered over. And as for Denise. Cant stand the arrogance of her. So i hope Julian and Erin win. But think it'll likey be Jill and Darren.

It's called "Strictly Come Dancing". There are professional world class dancers and a professional panel of judges. They say it time and time again; this is a dancing competition.

Yes, popularity comes into it of course. Even if Peter Mandelson came out there like Patrick Swayze he'd probably out on week one but here at the semi-final it's just insulting to the talent of Jill and Denise to have it now come down to how many fans of Julian there are out there to keep on phoning as surely no one can claim he's a dancer. Great guy, great chemistry with Erin blah blah, but not for the final. The complexity of the choreography tonight from the other three in comparision with Julian's Jive is so vast it's staggering.

I'd agree Julian deserved to stay in until now, he's come a long way and does his best, but not for the final. Dear God, that's just all kinds of wrong.

I am certain that, just like Chris Parker last time around, Julian will fall at the last hurdle. Entertaining, yes, but this should now go to the better dancer rather than the better entertainer. I can understand wanting to keep him in up till now, but pushing him through the winning post just because he tells funny jokes is a tad extreme.

I reckon the scores with the viewers vote was Jill and Darren 6 Julian 5 denise 5 and aled 4
they siad in a tie they look at the public vote who gets the most

It was a big shock but i feel sorry for Aled and please people vote for Denise she did so well

For everyone complaining that Julian isn't the best dancer and so shouldn't win, just remember who won Pop Idol this year! ... and that program wasn't just for charity but affected real people's lives.

Also, try asking Natalie Appleton whether the British public are fair

If you ask me it's pretty unfair for Julian and the others to go up against Jill and Denise at all! Jill has said herself she wanted to be a dancer if she wasn't an actress, and I heard Denise took lessons too! I mean they are amazing dancers there is no question about that, but it's pretty unfair to put people who have never danced in their life against people who are trained dancers in some way.

I really wanted to see Aled and Julian battle it out in the final!! I think they have both been proper stars this series

I agree with you. Dont know bout Denise but Jills definately been trained to dance. More than classes you take as a kid. She always avoids the question when Tess aks it and changes the subject. Like she did again tonight!
Anyone taking part should be like the 1st series and the celeb has no dance experience.
I also agree that Aled and Julian have been the stars of this series as they've kept the fun factor in it.

Julian has done fantastically, and him and Erin are a lovely partnership, but in no way, shape or form did they deserve to be in the final over Aled and Lilian. Julian wasn't alone in a phobia of dancing, Aled didn't even dance at his own wedding, and he has improved so vastly it really is a complete injustice he isn't in the final.

Generally during the series I think the right people have gone at the right time, it's just a complete shame this didn't happen tonight, Julian did fab and deserved to be in the semi final, but are people really seriously saying his foxtrot and jive were better then Aled's paso and tango, also for me Aled and Lilian had just as much chemistry and Julian and Erin, plus much more complex and difficult choreography.

Just for the record, I'm not a bitter Aled fan, it's Denise for me

I missed yesterday's show (((((((((((((( There was a power cut and my video didn't record... I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GUTTED! It's very confusing for me who to now support. Aled and Lilia were my favourites from Day One. Then the week before last I began voting for Julian and Erin too... then last week I voted for those two couples and Jill and Darren as I enjoy watching them dance too. Now I am stuck as it is the final. Aled is out I don't take to Denise (nothing personal I just don't enjoy her performance - mostly to do with finishing off the lines with her feet)... Julian's improvement is fab and I admire Erin's teaching immensly... Jill and Darren look fantastic but there is that question about the fairness of them winning with Jill having been trained as a dancer (I know NOT a Ballroon dancer) but as a teacher myself of all disciplines, I know how much easier it is for someone trained in a different subject to pick up a new one. You can spot a dancer by the way someone walks and stands. Jill is a dancer. So do I vote for Jill because she is the best dancer or Julian because he shows the true greatest improvement of those left as a non-dancer becoming a dancer? Decisions.. decisions... decisions...

It should be repeated on BBC3 if you have it.

I think Jill and Darren should win. Also Aled should have got through to the final, not Julian!

You mean you thought it ever had credibility? Look who was in the final last year - Chris Parker, who was worse than Julian!

I don't think Julian will win. Jill has never been in the bottom two has she? I think she's popular with viewers and judges alike.

I try to appreciate Denise, but somehow I just can't, and I don't know why. I'd prefer to watch Aled than her.
