Let's see if I can do this...

The Sound of Arrows - 'Voyage'
The Killers - 'Sam's Town'
Kasabian - 'West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum'
Amy Macdonald - 'A Curious Thing'
Amy Macdonald - 'This Is The Life'
Mumford & Sons - 'Sigh No More'
Noah & The Whale - 'Last Night on Earth'
Of Monsters and Men - 'My Head Is An Animal'
Kasabian - 'Kasabian'
Imagine Dragons - 'Night Visions'
Lily Allen - 'Alright, Still'
M83 - 'Before The Dawn Heals Us'
Pendulum - 'Immersion'
Aiden Grimshaw - 'Misty Eye'
The Black Keys - 'El Camino'
And for the first time I put them in order. Feel free to interchange the Macdonald albums - they're pretty fluid in their amazingness. There's some pretty recent releases on their too (Of Monsters and Men, Aiden Grimshaw) and it's rare albums make such and impression so early on. If you'd have asked me this on the day I got Grimshaw's album I'd probably have put it closer to the top though, so taking time with these things helps keep things in perspective. |

Liking your music taste! Amy's albums are awesome! I would of chose Hot Fuss from the killers, but each to their own!
I couldn't put mine in order, it was way too hard... although Brand New is at the top cause they are my favourite ^.^ |

I couldn't put mine in order, it was way too hard... although Brand New is at the top cause they are my favourite ^.^ And yeah Amy is great, but her last album wasn't quite up there with the rest for me (some of the songs I adore but as an album it just doesn't stack up to her previous efforts). And The Killers one was a hard call. I've always said to people 'Hot Fuss' is my favourite and the less said about 'Day & Age' the better (only what? three/four good songs? leave it out, guys...), but recently I've come to realise I actually prefer 'Sam's Town', but was clueless as to why until I gave it some real thought yesterday. The reason I choose 'Sam's Town' over 'Hot Fuss' (which by the way, is an absolute stonker of an album - best début for a rock band in a long time) is because I feel a more personal connection with the lyrics from the album, particularly on songs like 'Read My Mind', 'Why Do I Keep Counting?', the title track, and 'This River Is Wild'. I felt 'Hot Fuss' was very flamboyant and whilst 'Sam's Town' was the bigger-sounding of the two, Brandon's lyrics became much more grounded and introspective. |

I can't think of 15 albums, but I'll give it a go anyway and see how many I can get. In no particular order;

Ellie Goulding - Bright Lights
Lady Gaga - Born this Way
Lana del Rey - Born to Die
Rihanna - Rated R
fun. - Some Nights
Beyoncé - 4
Amy Winehouse - Back to Black
Cheryl - A Million Lights
Kylie Minogue - Aphrodite
Emeli Sandé - Our Version of Events
Noisettes - Wild Young Hearts
I don't really listen to many albums from start to finish because I prefer to take my favourite tracks and try to create my own albums & tracklisting instead. |

I just realised I forgot Lady GaGa!
I guess I'll have to live with my decision now and just be thankful this isn't real and I can still listen to her

I'm pleased to see you included American Life! A lot of Madonna fans still don't really like it but it's my favourite of hers
![]() ![]() I have re-fallen in love with it and it speaks so much to me. I agree but i often find her most overlooked stuff the more intense and gritty and i love that, makes it extra special....its a Techno/Acoustic masterpiece way ahead of its time.
