During the trial itself they were amusing, because they were showing genuine reaction ..... its their staged and rehersed stuff that bores me rigid ....
yeah, it's ant and dec that make the show. i mean could you imagine if kate thornton was presenting it??? 
The rehearsed bits are so tongue in cheek - thats what makes them so funny. They have been on brilliant form this series - particularly Ant - noone else could present this show.
I thought Burrel was funny enough himself going on about Tom Hanks and Frans reaction (?) was the icing on he cake! A&D added no humour for me, merely repetition.
i like them, they are pretty much as honest as presenters are allowed to be these days.. they know they aren't genuine comedians, but they have the charisma to pull even the most scripted and old gag off. Just watching them handle that live trial with Natalie Appleton, and you'll understand why so many in the industry are after them.
Yeah - they coped with Natalie reallly well. Makes me wonder what would Kate 'Thornton' have done though ??!! (Remember, she shouted at Rowetta on X-actor for not keeping to her makes)

yeah couldn't help wishing she was in a school teacher's uniform as she did that, hubba hubba.. but the genuinely best hosts never need to shout, Thornton is good, but everyone knows she'd be doing the ITV2 show if A&D weren't doing Takeaway and Celeb, and getting paid a shit load for them, and at least unlike Reeves and Nancy, they're earning it!
