Dan's move wasn't that big, he just decorated it with drama with the 'funeral' which was probably orchestrated by production anyway. Anyone can convince people to work with them and turn things around...that's Big Brother.

No they can't, if so how come Janelle and Boogie went home?
And production didn't orchestrate any part of that move. Dan came up with it all in solitary confinement, and got to work as soon as he got out, faking being ill and then hosting his own funeral.
The "funeral" was necessary because for one he needed to convince people he was done talking game, and secondly he needed to make it look like him and Danielle were over and not aligned - this made Frank buy the Final 2 deal a lot more.

And to distract other players by creating a scene to keep them occupied, during which he would have Frank to himself and be able to manipulate him easier.
I don't know how the other HG's bought the 'funeral' thing. It was obvious to me what Dan was doing. Kind of like the 'veto roulette' thing from BB10.

Yeah this is what I mean. He just built up the drama for TV. How could people actually think from Danielle's reaction that they weren't aligned? The shock on her face told everyone that he was lying. He really should have got her in on it to make that more believable.
Also...didn't Dan go to the DR after he came out of solitary to go see the 'doctor'. Obvious that production were filling him in on what was going on and helping him orchestrate the 'funeral' lol
To say he may have overtaken Will as the best BB player ever is giving Dan WAY too much credit
Also... haven't people(inc. Frank) said on the feeds that production wants him to work with Dan and Ian? Well maybe they saw it as a chance to finally convince Frank to save Dan and get rid of the last coach (Britney). Can you imagine production's faces if Britney was the last coach standing? Doubt that would go down well lol

I do think Dan is one of the best players to ever play the game. And this week, he just jumped a few other people. I always thought him as the 4th or 5th best player, behind Will, Jun, Rachel (And sometimes Janelle, depending on mood). But I think now for me, Dan is 2nd best player, but definatly not better than Will. Although, if he was to continue on, and make it even further, he would get close, but I dont think anyone will be better than Will (Although probably because the HGs then, were alot more easier to manipulate and all)!!!

That doesn't make any sense. If he got Danielle in on it before hand then surely her reaction would have come across as false, and as Dan said, she probably wouldn't have cried.
By not telling her it meant she gave a real reaction. She was genuinely distraught for a good hour or so and that made them all buy it.
Hell, Britney, Shane and Ian STILL think that he really meant what he said to Danielle.

Yeah I just watched the episode but my point of view was that if they really were not aligned... crying and shock isn't really the reaction I'd expect. I'd expect her to say something back...try to defend herself...argue with him.
And if they still believe it then they all deserve to be evicted next one by one lol
