If he does go to the end with Frank then it'll be a massive mistake, as Frank will beat anyone left in a final 2 situation. I think Dan will attempt to manipulate somebody else (probably Danielle) into orchastrating a Frank blindside next week, thus keeping his hands clean and getting rid of the most dangerous player in the game.

of course he knows what she will do coz Dan told him. He confronted her about it and she didnt deny it. So he is sure she wants him out and will be in Shanes and Ians ear to put him up. Brit doesnt win comps thats right but she manipulates the others to put him on the block and thats even more dangerous than win hoh.

He made his decision (like he said) coz he had a gutt feeling that its better for him to keep Dan. In the end he has nothing to lose and he knows that. But he is smart enough to do anything to win the pov.

I said Dan told him and he confronted her and she didnt deny it. What is your point here?

omg as i said earlier at least with Dan there is a chance he stays loyal to him. With Brit its clear she doesnt.

What he does know about Dan is that he is utterly ruthless. He should compare and contrast the deal he made with him, to the deal Dan made with Ollie in BB10.

The bottom line for Frank, unpalatable as it is for him, especially because he believes himself so deserving, is that he must win (or be the beneficiary of) the next 2 PoV's or almost certainly go home. No deal with anyone will change that IMO. The deals he has with both Dan and Britney are much of a muchness IMO (both phoney) so, on balance, why keep the stronger player (Dan)?

I suggest Frank's susceptibility to Dan was much more about pride than strategy, Ian duped the otherwise omniscient Frank, therefore he must be punished by proxy; backdooring Britney.

Dan was orchestrating Ian's "betrayal", the fact that he chose to confess only when Frank's rope was finally around his neck should have meant nothing to a true executioner.”

I think it was the right move to pull the rug from under Ian considering he ruined Frank's game. Whether it works out long term we'll have to wait and see but splitting up a dominate alliance can't be a bad thing. Now it comes down to Frank versus Dan (both backed up by weak players for votes/veto). It's gona be a cracker.

Epic! What an awesome episode!

Think I'm going to have to watch BB10 once BBAUS has finished.

This was a weird episode and wasn't altogether convincing to me. Makes me wonder if the producers had some words in the ears of some of the HGs. Dan's performance in front of the HGs was pretty pathetic, and then Frank for some reason suddenly wants to save the person he has been saying for weeks that he wants out. And Ian is suddenly Britney's closest friend apparently, and here was me thinking it had always been Shane lol. Bit peculiar, and the DR entries pretty much sounding as fake as ever. A shame as I was starting to enjoy this season again.

Dan and Frank were talking for over an hour, it wasn't exactly sudden. Also yes, Ian has been Brits closest ally for a while now.

Ian and Britney have been super close on the feeds. Just look at how upset Britney was when Frank was yelling at Ian. And look how shocked and upset Ian was when Frank put Britney on the block. They have developed a really close friendship.

Frank had zero allies (well, except for Jenn....) so Dan coming clean about the Quack Pack and then offering him a Final 2 deal, that made sense to Frank. Once his suspicions were confirmed about Ian he knew that he couldn't work with Ian/Britney/Shane because they had been lying to him this whole time. And with Dan seemingly broken up with Danielle, it made Frank trust the Final 2 deal more...and the conversation was over an hour long, it didn't just happen within 5 mins.

Britney is Ian's new crush, since Ashley went on the ice cream date.

Yeah the Frank & Dan conversation is like in 7 10+minute parts on youtube. Dan crafted that conversation amazingly. Essentially just exposed the Quack Pack & Ian's antics, and then just kept gently guiding the conversation.

I'd wouldn't be surprised if Frank thought he'd come up with the idea to get Jenn to use the veto off the block.

Well yeh obviously Frank needed allies, though he had created some kind of alliance with Shane and Britney at least for the short term according to the previous HLs. I can't say I'm convinced that everyone bought into that ridiculous over the top speech from Dan and thought that he really had dropped Danielle. Ian had already been exposed as he exposed himself when Boogie left. And nobody is to be trusted at any time really that's how the game is. As for Britney well I'm sure most of the men like her lol, she is super cute.

The main question seemed to be who would Shane side with though, not whether Dan had won over Frank or not. Even though Frank put Britney up with Jen's veto that didn't mean Britney was going home without Shane turning on her. So this Dan plan that the HLs wanted to concentrate on was not really as important as the desperation of Frank (he's been desperate most of the time) and what Shane thought was best for his game.

It was a temporary alliance at best, that fell apart as soon as Frank found out that 1. Ian was the one passing info to the other side and 2. Britney and Shane were still planning to get him out the next week.

Jenn and Joe didn't fully buy it.

But Frank just assumed Ian was ganged up on by Dan/Danielle/Britney/Shane and was swayed in to voting out Mike and putting up Frank/Ashley. Frank believed Ian was bullied in to it...not actually behind it (although he had his suspicions). Once Dan convinced Frank that Ian not only planned to vote out Mike well before Thursday, but was also in an alliance with them, and was the one selling out Mike and Frank...that broke all trust Frank had with Ian and therefore also with Britney.

Shane was always more likely to keep Danielle. And he confirmed fairly early on after the Veto Ceremony that he was keeping Danielle. Britney knew she was going home, hence why she wasn't dressed for Endurance on Thursday. The HLs tried to make Shane's vote seem more up in the air but it really wasn't - and if they focused on that instead of how Dan went from "dead man walking" to "risen from the dead" the producers of this show would have been morons.

As I said though virtually all alliances are really temporary, I've no doubt if Dan has a chance to get rid of Frank he will.

Frank obviously didn't take much convincing that Ian was a willing participant, I'm sure he had very strong suspicions of all that anyway. Ultimately it is Shane who I assume was the one fooled. And that's probably not difficult to do with him in all honesty, so I'm not sure it's that much of an achievement.
