i'm watching BBC Breakfast, and Naga Munchetty is on, and she seems to be trying to be Natasha whats her face, Kaplinsky. She is simpering, making bad jokes and lots of giggling.

very very annoying, not sure why shes irriating me, if i think about it, Susannah Reid, is quite similar - could be cos i have been up all night with a dodgy knee, and i am tired....

Natasha was distant and icy when she presented Breakfast. She certainly didn't make jokes and giggles.

I don't think Natasha was ever known for having a laugh and giggles, if anything she seemed straight down the line.

Saw Breakfast this morning and my flabber was gasted at the sight of these two sub-Blue Peter presenters. Naga was pleasant enough but lacked gravitas; I cringed during the 'legal highs' segment. Simon McCoy alternated between swaying from side-to-side laughing a little bit too loudly like he was still drunk from the night before, and staring at the camera 'rabbit-caught-in-the-headlights' style.

In the same vein as Matthew Amriliwola, Clive Myrie and Mischal Hussain.

Never ever think that they are employed on merit, it's easier to think otherwise and be condescending.

Sounds like she's switched to her emergency backup personality (or someone's medicating her tea ).
I didn't see the show and generally try to avoid her appearances. Maybe it's my faulty impression, but she always seems to think it's OK to be rude to people she's interviewing, dismissive of what they say and verging on the obnoxious to her (male) co-presenters. In a lot of ways she reminds me of Kate wossername, who seems to have disappeared from the screen - at least at the times when I watch BBC News

I wish she'd let her hair grow a bit longer. She'd look stunning.

This whole week on Breakfast has been the Z-List presenters across the board. Keep McCoy behind a desk on the News Channel, he's better there - when he's not 'resting his eyes' on it. My soul slides when Deakin does the weather, as he always shouts.

I used to like Munchetty, but she seems to have got a bit 'up herself' recently. Grow your hair, too - to hide the ears...

I didn't mind her on that, programmes tone was the problem IMO.
The back office ruined working lunch when it went all lightweight.
I'm sure they must have been told by the punters they'd knackered it, but they persisted.
Maybe the figures actually went up when it went fluffy, wouldn't be surprised.

Shes also ruined BBC world News 5am GMT hour. Making her guests wear newspaper cutouts on an international news bulletin!

Fully agree with that analysis.. and are you thinking of the dread Silverton? Agree with that too, if it is... Sadly she hasn't disappeared.
