BT YouView trial

Got a Email yesterday stating that my BT vision sevice is being stopped on 29/08/12, i only pay for the demand service but the PVR part of it and all of my recordings have gone!.
Rang them up and the Indian gent did not know anything! so he went off to talk to his manager while he was gone i got another Email saying that i have been accepted for the YouView trial and for that to happen my vision service has to stop.
Should get the new box tomorrow (Friday) and was told i would get a call from BT, looking foward to the new box but miffed that all of my recordings have gone.

I would have thought they'd be looking to get the wheels in motion for releasing details and getting the thing up and running instead of taking on new trialists! This whole thing just stinks of being a rushed job. At this rate we might expect a half decent offering by Christmas.

As it is a BT trial, you will be under their NDA (Non Disclosure Agreement) and you won't be able to talk about it.

Still waiting, order number given to me not recongised by Parsel Force nor Royal Mail. Got a feeling this is going to go pete tong! plus the mrs is giving me ear ache about missing recordings and lack of pvr.

Keep us updated though - I know you can't say too much due to the NDA, but a simple good/bad/awesome would keep us happy!

Got a Email Monday stating that it will be delivered Wednesday 5th,a lady who i know delivered it to me yesterday (Tuesday) night she lives 4 doors away from me she had nothing to sign and i had nothing to say she had the box!

Let use know if it was easy to set up and if you got it all working ok.
Im thinking of getting a BT YouView when it comes out on a basic package.

ALL YouView boxes can receive the four terrestrial HD channels.
