Watched this today and was quite shocked by the actual stoning. Was even more shocked that at the end of the film it turned out to be a true story.

Find it a bit hard to believe that a journalist was travelling through the village the day after it happened, but small details I suppose.

When the aunt had told her story and then she said this happened yesterday I was like

Truly shocking film and worth a watch if you haven't seen it.
