I have just read the story on here about this being launched in Europe but having just gone to the Play Store, I can't see this anywhere.

I am not always clever technically, so I might just be daft...but can anyone tell me where I should be able to find this please?!

Just go to Amazons website. On the front page there is an advert for the apps store. Click on it and it gives instructions on how to download it.

I downloaded via the QR code off a computer following the link on Amazon's homepage onto a Sony tablet S (ICS) with no problems. I did have a problem downloading the free app because it wanted my address and credit card details (in a normal way I think) and then once I'd done that it kept telling me my country had changed so it couldn't complete the purchase. This is because it automatically comes up as the American store.
Got there eventually though!

Oh thanks! I didn't know about it. More choice is a good thing!

Is it a Kindle Fire 2 Android app store or an Android app store?

Assuming is as said makes me wonder if the Fire 2 will be more of a standard Android system.

I just downloaded and installed Who Wants to be a Millionaire on my Nexus 7. It was their free paid app of the day.

It is only 7 days until we get the Kindle Fire 2.

I saw we in that the last rumour was that it would be launched in Europe as well as the US.
