virgin mobile "losing" tariff = massive bills!
Hubby and i both have mobiles,tv, phone internet etc with virgin and have been with them for over 5 years in total Our problem is with our mobiles,we pay approx £10 each a month and get x amount of minutes, texts, internet etc. We have had the current tariff for over a year.A couple of months ago i had a text saying i was nearing my credit limit
and my bill was over £100 We contacted virgin and after going around the world and spending nearly an hour talking to several people they said we did not have a tariff attached to the phone We said yes we have and look at the past year, this they did and then admitted that they has lost the tariff! It would be re-attached by a manager the next day and the bill cancelled. Fast forward two months and it happened again, this time they said they cannot do anything till the 6th Sept when the tariff we havent allegedly got gets reset. Since then the same thing has happened on my phone, its too late to do anything tonight,so i will look forward to arguing with them again tomorrow Has anyone else had this problem??

I had awful problems with them when I had mobile broadband from them. Billing issues, and the worst thing was long hold times for the team you needed to speak to and speaking to their call centres where they consistently told you different things, didn't have a clue and insisted on calling my only by my surname as if it was my first name.
Once the contract was up I cancelled it and I now use Samba for the little mobile broadband I use. |
