Franks eyes

Random but does he have a problem like a squint or something? I always wondered why he has to blink and close his eyes for longer periods than most.

Up till now I've assumed its just a twitch like the hand movements

He probably just suffers from dry eyes. That makes you blink a lot. And the lights might be affecting him too.

I blink an awful lot and think it might be blepharospasm. I haven't been to see anyone about it yet. But if that's diagnosed I'll probably get botox for free. With blepharospasm you blink 'tighter' than Frank is doing and you can still feel the muscles trying to blink even when you have your eyes closed. It's very very annoying.

That does sound really tough! Hopefully you get yours sorted though. Even with the botox though does it become hard still to stop?

I was watching a clip earlier where he was just in the house and he doesn't do it so much. I think it must have been the nerves of the live show speaking to Julie and speaking in the DR

Not sure what would happen with botox. Maybe then you have to force yourself to blink? But I think it's the only cure for blepharospasm. I read that botox was originally invented as a cure for blinking. Now they use it for everything from smoothing wrinkles to curing sweating armpits and feet.

Frank's blinking is definitely not nearly as bad as mine. I'm sure it's the lights + dry air in where he is.
