It doesn't feel that have given it a good shot, they just need to work a bit harder.

I'm a big Sats fan but lets be realistic. When the likes of Sugababes and Girls Aloud never cracked America, the girls never really stood a chance
But they did stand a chance, though.

It can takes months and months for British artists to go anywhere near the top 100 on US iTunes (Ellie Goulding's 'Lights' took about eight months before it even charted and the likes of Cher Lloyd and Olly Murs took months of promotion before even getting a quick #80 style charting on the Hot 100) and yet The Saturdays got to #102 with just one TV performance and zero airplay. Imagine they have TV booked for a full week and the song was sent to radio? It would certainly have got them a place on the Hot 100 at the very least.

They went over in January for a few TV shows then when the song started to take off they came back to the UK. When the song was completely dead in the US they went back in March for a TV show and a radio show then when it started to take off again they came back to the UK.

Girls Aloud never cracked it because they never tried.

PS They would have succeeded with The Promise, Love Machine or Fling.

thats all.

You don't know that for sure. Nobody does.
