We've recently had to take my brother's cat in while he and his wife move into temporary accommodation. We already have Fiz, who's about 5 years old. We've been advised not to Purdy (the foster cat) out for three weeks, to get her used to the house.

There was quite a lot of spitting and growling at first, but Fiz's behaviour has got worse over the last couple of days and she keeps attacking Purdy.

I wondered if a Feliway plug in would calm things down at all?

I used feliway when introducing my kitten to my older cat it took really about 2 weeks to notice the difference and I also noticed when it ran out the first time they began fighting again. Try it I have been told not all cats will adjust to it but I did find it helped .
There are a few hits every now and again but now mainly cuddles and even sleeping together on sofa

Thanks for the advice. I've ordered some off Amazon, not sure when it'll be delivered. I'm just hoping they haven't knocked lumps out of each other before it starts working!

I would also look on ebay I have had some bargins from there for the refills

i spoke to my vet today about the scullcap and valerian v feliway and he said they are going to stock scullcap and valerian soon as its herbal they prefer it and it works quicker and you can vary the dose to suit
