Usually one, but can be more if you are starting from scratch...

You don't say if it's for dog or cat, but specifically for a dog, from my vet.....

Two jabs for a puppy starting anew, a couple of weeks apart...
Yearly 'boost' = 1 jab

I had a puppy done in February, it was £48 for the two
My older dog had his booster last week - £24.50 (two substances - 'DHPPi' and 'Lepto 2' - but both in the one syringe)

They will have to have the two injections from the start again now because it's been so long in between. I know because I've had my dogs boosterd all their lives which is just one injection yearly but I left iit with my eleerly dog as he was so old and couldn't walk much and then my vet told me as it had been so long I'd have to start the injections like he was a pup/

5yrs old, and he has a booster every year, in late August.

If yours hasn't had any jabs for a few yrs, I'm afraid he'll have to start again from scratch.

Well if I can get one done tomorrow and the other a week on saturday it wont be a problem but if the vet insists it has to be two week between them were in trouble
