It doesnt work on all version of a800. Do you have a data cable?

No, was kind of hoping that a code would work ....

just read somewhere that samsung put an extra level of security to stop unlocking to be done in this way...

how annoying... why should samsung care what networkj their phones are on

Samsung dont. But when networks subsidise part of the cost of a handset and then it leaves them for another network they moan to the manufacturer for better sim lock security.

Hence the change.....

TEMPORARY UNLOCK:
Put a non-accepted SIM Card and turn it on. Type *#9998*3323#. Press Exit. You will get a new menu. Select Malloc Fail.
In newer phones:
#*7337#

Tried with Vodafone SIM in the fone and i put in my PIN and then it askes for a password... it says "password is too short" before i get a chance to put the whole code in...

i then tried it with no SIM and again no joy ... i did not see a " exit" button either or is the the "off" buttonn

any more ideas... i am thinking i may have to go down wembley market and get it unlocked for "£20

Take the PIN request off the sim and do it again.

Dont go down wembley market and pay £20!

Buy a data cable off ebay for £3.99

Steve007 the software you recommend and cable are for the E800. Is this same as for the A800?

Hi all. This is an update to unblocking a sagem myx-2.
I have just paid £20 to orange to unblock mine without a data cable, it was all done by phone.
My mobile was locked to orange, I don't know if your ime number has anything to do with the unblocking code.
The code that I was given is 1894166146.
Take out the sim card that is with the phone and put in the sim that you want to use.
Turn the phone on, it will come up as sim locked.
put in the code and press ok.
I hope this saves some of you out there the astronomical price charged for unblocking sagem phones.

good luck rose

The code is imei specific - its a shame but it wont work in any phone but yours

Your can buy a sagem data cable(serial NOT usb) for about £5 off ebay, then download the temporary unlocker from:
http://www.unlockeasy.net/modules.ph...=getit&lid=126

Run the software, phone will accept your sim, unless you switch your phone off in which case you will need to run the software again.
