My godson has asked for one, but he buys music & apps, so I'm not too sure which to go for.

Thanks

The first one appears to be for apps only and not music
The second for music and not apps

AFAIK there isn't any difference. http://store.apple.com/us_smb_78313/...JHDCPY4X79AHTX

Personally I get the normal iTunes cards.

They are exactly the same, its just a promotional thing. Card for iTunes, Mac App Store, iOS App Store, iBooks are all the same and just go into one pot that can be used for any digital content. The only cards that are different are the Apple Store cards to be used to buy things in an Apple store.
