If it really was to do with the crowd/stage she surely would have referenced 'issues with the venue' or something else. Production/technical issues sounds like they just couldn't get it together for her so she left that disorganised mess. And I can't say I blame her either.

Those that did probably felt cheated though if they did attend to see her perform. Given "Bad Boys" was a smash hit and her last single barely charted, I have to wonder if she's not overestimating her demand and profile and only damaging both with her actions. Then again, it seems Emilie Sande is filling the gap she is leaving in the market and succeeding beyond all initial expectations after the Olympics raised her profile globally.

A lot of artists have had problems when they can't hear themselves on stage, and they carried on for their fans, i wish she would do the same. I miss the old Alexandra Burke - she wouldn't of canceled her gig before.

You've been defending her constantly now for 12 hours. You sure that your not part of her team ?

How could that be? Their music isn't comparable at all.

Anyway, singer doesn't perform at event: it's hardly big news, it happens regularly. The difference here is that so many people seem to want Alexandra Burke to fail.

Love how when we get a female act and she's got character and actually quite interesting compared to bland (have to say Leona here, bores me to tears) shes practically vilified. However US 'divas' i.e Nicki Minaj or Madonna fans lap it up.

Does she have a team any more? I'm not sure Zack06 counts as a team...

That said, if she needs any help, send her my way, we don't put up with divaish nonsense lol!

Who's lapping it up? Madge is getting so much bad press these day's she's making Jedward look popular, Minaj is proving such an unpopular choice with viewers as a potential idol judge people are getting very nervous, and yes, Leona's so bland you could enter a room she was in and never know she was there.
No one's saying she shouldn't be a character, just do her job, and be mindful of the industry today and how quickly one can get a name for oneself. After all, another series of that awful show is underway, so there'll be even more people for her to compete for air time and column inches with. These are not nessecarily the column inches she wants.

Perhaps it's being Brighton born and bred, but there's something very 'Carry On' about that... Pulls out, not big enough... ”

Classy..

When have you blamed her? For anything. Nothing is her fault.

Yet - for some reason - these 'things' keep happening.

Have to agree. People say Alexandra is cocky and arrogant but honestly the likes of Rihanna, Nicki, Madonna etc seem far more up themselves yet they're adored internationally.

Typical of the British, we drag our own talented artists down and praise the international ones.

Alexandra can't seem to do anything right these days. Everyone is on her back. Poor girl.

I don't understand this attitude people are adopting where everything has to be HER fault and nobody elses...Hey Alex let's give you a crap budget, not give you any promo slots to promote your album on release week and scrap all that material you recorded with those shiny producers...don't worry it'll all be your fault Alex.

Nothing is her fault in some eyes. It's everyone else at fault.

Keep saying it and it might come true...

Nothing ever seems to be her fault, it's always someone else's fault . Her fans are unrivaled when it comes to spinning and twisting facts to make her look good.

She seems like a nasty piece of work. Arrogant, obnoxious, and completely up her own ass. She thinks she is some big star when in reality she has turned out to be one of the biggest flops to emerge out of X-Factor.

And what is this nonsense about her dropping out of the JLS tour It's fairly obvious that she was dropped due to flop sales of her recent flop album.

Obvious where? She said herself that she quit to focus on her own career, having recently signed a deal with RCA US. There's no point wasting a whole summer on some silly JLS tour.

That so true, if it was really a sound issue why not come out and say so instead of releasing a very vague statement that could be interpreted in many ways

"production or technical requirements needed to make the show work" could very well mean that she felt the stage wasn't big enough for her. I would say she has behaved very badly, who does she think she is?

Is it good PR to drop out of tours and live appearences when people are expecting to see her perform?

What else is she going to say? Is she really focusing on her career? is she in the studio writing and recording new material?

she is no where to be found.

I agree...she's so lovely in person and really humble, it's quite funny seeing people fall for these silly stories really.

the jls tour would have been promotion for an album that her fans openly said needed more promotion. i just cant understand how that was a good decision.

Calm down...it hasn't been officially announced yet. But don't worry, we'll make sure you know when it is.

I'm not sure JLS fans are really a goldmine for her.

Why not? Surely if she was really signed to RCA US there would have been some sort of an official announcement already. What's the hold up

Sounds like another lie, time will tell.

I doubt it was her decision, it seems as if she was dropped from that tour. Her fans are claiming that she "dopped out" to work on her career but instead she is busy partying, something doesn't add up
