CAMP comic Julian Clary will miss Strictly Come Dancing’s Christmas special — because he expected to be kicked out early.
The comic thought he would never make it to the last round and signed up to star in a Christmas panto.
But now Julian and partner Erin Boag will take on Denise Lewis, Jill Halfpenny and their partners in Saturday’s final.
As a finalist Julian was expected to appear in the Christmas show on December 22. But he has cried off because of his panto role.
A show insider said: “Julian never expected to make it to the final so he agreed to star in Cinderella in Bristol from December 16.
“He will be replaced by Aled Jones in the Christmas show.”
