I'd like to sell my 4 now but it means going so many weeks without a phone which isn't really plausible. I'll just have to take what I can get.

I'd rather sell my old phones to one of the online recycling companies like Mazuma, O2 recycle etc. than CEX.

You'll get £250+ for it, which is very good for a piece of technology. I would like to see a £500 laptop from 2010 fetch £250 today. Considering what £250 can get you brand new from ebuyer etc.

despite all the manoeuvrings the best time to sell it is when you no longer want it.

yes the price will drop when the iPhone 5 comes out. not lest because there will be a lot of people selling them. but unless you are willing to go without there is nothing you can do.
I have to agree, I sell my phones when they are no longer of use to me, not months before to get an extra £50.

As has been already said a iPhone 3Gs will fetch £150+ on Ebay so I wouldn't worry about an iPhone 4/4s droppng to much anytime soon.

Don't forget its not a Samsung so it won't lose £200 in the first 8 months.
haha ! even in an iPhone thread "she" has to bring in Samsung comments. "She" is obsessed

I wonder if im on "her" ignore list yet ??

Mind you, if I am "she" will still see this post on "her" other IDs im sure

On topic though I would guess that the market will soon be flooded with people offloading their iPhones with the new one about to be released so i'd get it sold ASAP.

A number of threads that Tracey visits suggest that the ID is simply a new ID created by an existing DS member...... The ID appeared very suddenly, made a few neutral posts and then seemed to launch into a very anti-Samsung stance.

sad that people do that but .....
