Is sharon still breastfeeding
Sounds ridiculous, just made
Me wonder with tanyas comment at the beginning and Sharon pulling a funny face, would also explain her feeling Her breasts the other week and she's gone to the school as he was Ill and all of a sudden come back and assume He's ok, something's not right there wonder what it is ? |

Yeah I do.
Maybe she doesn't want to let go of him after she never thought would have a baby , Would be an odd storyline though |

While this would be interesting I think most people would take it as comedy rather than anything serious... but I wouldn't mind them doing it.

They're not going to do that in eastenders.
Someone mentioned that they thought Denny might have diabetes, I did wonder at that tonight with the fact he wasn't allowed marshmallows. |

Tanya was just being bitchy. We have seen Denny eat solid foods obviously he is eating. And feeding your kids sugary snacks first thing is not smart.

The comment about Sharon doing it alone considering she is a widow was outright disgusting and it was in front of Denny too. His father is dead, you evil cow. She was mocking her for being a widow. Yes Sharon's husband was murdered while she was still pregnant. Even if Tanya does not know the truth behind Dennis' death it was well out of line. He is still dead helicopter crash, murder whatever it was wrong.

Yes, she is breastfeeding. It's her way of staying close to Dennis.

And considering he was lactose intolerant not likely is it. |

Of course Sharon isn't still breastfeeding - even if she was how would Tanya know. Tanya made the comment as a dig about Sharon being overprotective and OTT as a mum not literally. It was partly in response to Sharon being snide about the marshmallows rotting teeth.

How much does Tanya know exactly?
I missed this episode, but did she actually know Sharon is widowed? No idea who has said what to whom about it, so did Tanya actually say the word widow, or comment about Dennis being dead, or just that she's a single mum? From what I am hearing, Tanya was upset with Sharon for being critical of ehr parenting style, from what I see, a lot of parents get really defensive to the point of being offensive when someone disagrees with their way of brining up kids. Sure, marshmallows in the morning are not a very good idea, but I think there are a lot of parents who do that and if it is not their idea of breakfast and it is not every single day, big deal. But: Denny having diabetes would be a great story. It would make Sharon scared to lose the last bit of Dennis and the child she wanted so badly, but could not have (or so she was told). It could also show and highlight the ignorance. For example, diabetes does not man you can't ever have candy, or at least, not every type of diabetes means that. My former classmate has it and when she is feeling really bad, she actually eats a lot of sugar to get better (or drinks sugary drinks). It could mention injecting yourself or testing bloodsugar, some kids could find that really scary, Denny could be telling them that it's not that bad, just annoying. They could show the difficulties of Denny eating at other peoples places, with what he can and can't have, or him really wanting some food he should not eat, or eat too much of it, or in any other way stray from his diet (he is, after all, a kid). This would lead to a row between Sharon and who ever gave Denny something, and make her more afraid and insecure, just when she let go a little. Denny could feel overprotected when he hits his teens, The argument could include a line where it becomes clear the other person did not know at all that Denny could not have something and asked him about it, Denny said it was fine. On one hand, you can hardly call a kids mother every time he wants a snack, on the other hand, a young kid is not the most reliable source when it comes to him being allowed candy, is it? There are so many possibilities, so many prejudices/misunderstandings/ignorance about it. I did not know zip about it, thought it meant no candy or sweet things ever again and daily injections, before this classmate and I were going to a party and she told me about diabetes (did not even know she had it) and what to do if she was got really dizzy, or sick, or fainted or stuff like that. And that you get bruises from injecting if you don't do it just right, where and how she did that etc. I was glad I knew that (nothing happened, luckily), because if anyone had just told me she was diabetic and she happened to have been feeling very bad, I would not have a clue what to do about it. |

A sweeping comment doesn't mean it couldn't have some Home truths to it |
